The condo was awesome. 2 blocks from the beach and includes everything you need for a great getaway. We stayed in the 2 bedroom with the sofa bed in the livingroom. There was a patio off the livingroom with the jacuzzi, table and gas grill. There was also a very large patio off the master bedroom (2nd floor) that overlooked the street. This patio needed an umbrella, as it would get very hot up there, so we didn't use it much. Downstairs has - kitchen, livingroom, patio with jacuzzi, washer/dryer. 2nd floor has - bathroom (the only one), bedroom with bunkbed, master bedroom with queen bed, patio overlooking the street. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you will need, the jacuzzi was clean, there were lots of towels, pillows and blankets, many beach chairs (no beach umbrella - which you will need!) and 2 boogie boards. Parking is a problem if you have more then 2 cars, or if you have guests. The streets around this area are packed with cars. There is a garage for 1 car and a space for another car to park behind the garage. The description was very accurate, but the picture with the greenery on the patio is not this condo with the jacuzzi. The patio with the jacuzzi is a bit drab, but the jacuzzi makes up for it! The owner, Greg, was wonderful, answered all of my questions and was very welcoming. I would definately recommend this property to a friend or relative. What I liked most about the condo was how clean it was, how close it was to the beach and how they provide just about everything you would need. The only thing I didn't like about it was the sofa-bed. Unless they buy a new mattress, don't plan on anyone sleeping on it, as it is very lumpy! Otherwise, don't just stay a week - stay 2! It would be well worth it!

Stayed at Greg & Beth's wonderful beach house for two weeks this July. Perfect combination of beach charm and modern convenience. Literally a few steps to the beach. Would recommend this unit for anyone wanting a get-away. Also, the availability of a garage and the driveway parking was terrific. I suggest you book it NOW.

I loved this place! It's far enough from the beach so you don't get the evening wind, but close enough where you can run back and forth between beach and home. It's not in the loud, crazy part of the peninsula, but it's close enough to the craziness if you want to venture down on foot or bike. I love that you can walk to restaurants, stores and fast food places. The owners are really nice, and the price is right. We searched many properties in the area and this is definitely the best deal in town! By the way, it's not Lido Isle but the Balboa Peninsula, which is a much better location.

We've rented this beach house several summers in a row. This beach house spotless clean. Decorated very beachy and fun. Right near the beach. Great location and awy from the busy bike path; but easy bike ride to pier and restaurants. Of all the trips we've taken our kids on ( including many to Europe, Australia ans various cruises... Thus is their all time favorite. They ask to go back every summer... To this beach house!
Owner response:Thanks for your nice comments. We enjoyed having you and your family stay at our unit and we are glad you had a great time. It is close to everything and the bike paths are great. Thanks. See you again soon!

We loved our stay at your duplex. The best part was just doing nothing, renting bikes and going for rides on the boardwalk and bike path. One day we road to Huntington Beach and the weather was perfect. The apartment was very comfortable. We especially liked having meals outside on the covered patio - we never get a chance to do that in San Francisco because it's too cold. We liked the location too because it's not in the busy part of town, yet it is close to everything, especially by bike. We would definitely like to come back again.
