Why the Owner Chose Mountain Village
When we first bought this property we were looking for a place that we could come to as a family and enjoy convenient skiing and the summer months in the mountains. This was the only property that was true ski in and ski out and it has it's own garage. You could walk to everything, so it was the perfect location for a family with 4 small kids at the time. We knew that when we decided to rent this townhome, no one would be disappointed in the location. We had been on many vacations that you get to your destination and had it ruined by the accomodations. That won't happen here.
The Unique Benefits at this Townhome
The biggest advantage of this property is it's location and the ammenities that are provided. You also have your own private hot tub and sauna. There is also an oversized back deck that has a BBQ grill and the sunsets are incredible. So if you are staying during the winter months you can ski right off the back deck and during the summer you can start your hiking from the front door. The house is also wired for music in every room including the hot tub. Plush robes are supplied in the Master bedroom and the Queen bedroom downstairs.
Right on the Meadows Ski run and walking distance to the Free Gondola into Telluride.

We absolutely love the Telluride\Mountain Village area. Since we live on the Texas coast year round we try and spend as much time in the mountains as possible. My favorite time is the Summer and Fall although my husband loves the winter.

This house is absolutely beautiful. We rented for the summer, and we are back online looking at the photos dreaming about returning in 2012. It is so quiet, unlike many other lodges, apartments, or townhouses that we rented in the past (no college kids partying next door during festivals). It is within walking distance to everything. The house is laid out well, allowing everyone private space. There are bathrooms on every level and a beautiful deck overlooking the mountains and golf range in the distance. The owners are wonderful. Everything was perfect, and the rates are reasonable. After 10 years of renting in Colorado, we finally found the perfect location for the entire family.

After many hours spent on VRBO looking for the perfect Christmas vacation home, I kept coming back to this rental and could not be happier. Being able to communicate directly with the owners, was a big plus. From the moment we entered, we felt like we were at home. Our family had a wonderful time and hope to come again next year. This is a warm and inviting townhome with a great location!

We have stayed at this condo in the summer and winter. I am not sure which I enjoyed best. We love both hiking and skiing.We have 4 kids under the age of 11 and the place is set up nicely to give them a place of their own...having their own beds, tv, and bathroom. That was so nice. Also, I loved cooking in the kitchen...they have all the best cookware...I was even able to prepare a Thanksgiving meal with ease.I am not sure what my favorite part of the condo is because I really LOVE the steam shower in the Master Bath. That was the most awesome part of my stay.However, I loved sitting in the Hot Tub and viewing the gorgeous mountain views across the way. But, then there is the flat screen TV and the fireplace in the main living area. Of course, my husband loved the TV part but I LOVED being able to flip a switch and voila...a lovely fire to enjoy.Then, there is the large back deck that everyone can hang out on and barbecue or watch the skiers coming down the slope depending on when you visit. I have to say the short walk to the Gondola (and by the way it’s free) proved to be a blessing with all the kiddos and there always seems to be events going on in town to take them to. I would like to mention that there is a free car service, they were quick, and provided a newer model Suburban, which enabled us to travel around town at ease. This was nice as I am usually the navigator...you know the one responsible for finding places...so I usually miss out on the scenery along the way. So, we parked our vehicle in the garage when we got there and never got it out until we left. Sweet!I would also like to say that the condo being just off the ski slope was really great. Since my husband hung out at the condo...my kids were able to head up to the condo to rest, eat, go the bathroom, etc...then joined us again at their convenience. This allowed the rest of us to continue skiing...how cool is that. We’ll definitely be back!
