This Crystal Dunes condominium has a GREAT LOCATION!!!! Only a few steps to the beach with PANORAMIC VIEWS AND A FIRST FLOOR END UNIT. Spacious open living area is an added bonus. Recent renovation includes new Stainless appliances and Granite countertops in the kitchen and baths to give Platinum-rated upgrades to this already beautiful unit. Because this Crystal Dunes unit is a first floor corner unit, it has the ambiance of a beach home rather than a condo.It is light-filled, having many more windows than the average unit. More windows means more view! It is the perfect condo for families with children or ideal for couples. Park next to the unit and unload groceries and luggage within steps of the entrance, never having to utilize elevators.
Professionally decorated with Caribbean artwork and oil paintings, this Crystal Dunes unit features high ceilings and crown molding. Watch the sunrise from the bay window in the sitting area or a spectacular sunset from the living area. Only the Crystal Dunes end units boast two living areas versus one. This unit has two master bedrooms, with a king bed in each. One sofa converts to a queen size beds and built-in bunk beds in the hallway are ideal for children. The Condo was exceptional! It has everything, you just need to supply your personal items and food. The owner was wonderful to work with. There were so many families staying there and my children found friends to play with, and that gave us a little free time to enjoy the beach. We visted the Naval base in Pensacola which was only an hour and a half away from Destin. The weather was beautiful and sunny the entire week. We would definitely stay here again!Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers.

Our trip was planned a little hastily and we happened to luck into this wonderful property. Having never gone through VRBO before we were skeptical but the owners of the unit were fantastic. Very communicative and you can tell they truly care about your experience. The unit was very clean and the pictures accurately represent what you will see upon arrival--a beautiful place virtually on the sand! Our family of four enjoyed our stay and hope we can get back in next year. We can't think of anything this unit didn't have that we needed. In fact, there were things we liked so much that we contacted the owners to find out what brand they were and where to get them and they kindly obliged. A top rate unit owned by first class people.Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, age 55+, tourists without a car, girls getaway.

Absolutely gorgeous! This condo was heaven ... beautifully decorated, well stocked with everything, extremely comfortable and within steps of the beach. We loved being on the first floor with easy access to everything. Cynthia was fabulous! She went above and beyond expectations in an effort to accomodate our group and in making sure everything was as it should be. She was truly a pleasure to work with. This was the second year in a row for my family to enjoy this beautiful condo. We love the convenience of being only steps from the beach. We love it so much that we have our week reserved already for next year! The owners are truly wonderful and make everything about the experience of renting this condo very easy. My family of five just returned from visiting Destin. This condo was beautiful, clean and very tastefully decorated. I loved the artwork, but the best views were of the ocean. It was great being on the first floor - easy to get groceries in and great for running up from the beach. I had what I needed to be able to do a little cooking (unlike in past rentals where I've had to buy salt and pepper!). Importantly, the beds were actually quite comfortable, which was a first for us. The owner was so nice and pleasant to deal with. Overall this trip was a great time for my family, and I would highly recommend this condo.Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, age 55+, girls getaway.

Mer Sea was perfect! The condo is impeccably maintained and has all of the amenities you could every want. The first floor location makes it ideal for coming and going to the beach. The complex is quiet and beautifully maintained. I've already recommended Mer Sea to several friends and we'll definitely be back!Recommended for: Families with young children, romantic getaway, age 55+, girls getaway.

Perfect location- step right from the condo onto the white powdery sands of Crystal Beach. This unit in Crystal Dunes is ideally situated on the first floor corner/end - right beside your parking space. We knew we had chosen the perfect spot as soon as we walked through the front door. Cynthia, the owner, made us feel right at home, providing us with a welcome letter and even fresh flowers. She could not have been more accomodating, answering emails and phone calls before our arrival. This condo has everything you will need for an enjoyable week on the beach.We are already planning on next return. About the owner: Our Crystal Dunes condominium has afforded our family many hours of vacation time, creating memories as well as providing relaxation. We purchased the unit soon after the building was completed and we do our best to keep it beautiful for our family and our guests. We live in the Destin area and therefore, keep a close eye on the unit and have as much pride of ownership in our condominium as we do our own home.
Why the Owner Chose Crystal Dunes:
We selected Crystal Dunes 101 because it was the model unit and had wow factor! We liked the fact that it is an end unit, has panoramic views and is located on a quiet street away from high rises. Great restaurants and shopping within walking distance, an added plus!

Crystal Dunes 101 is unique in that it the closest unit to the beach in all of Crystal Dunes. It has an open floor plan with two sitting areas and is located steps from parking. Unloading luggage and groceries is a breeze! Best of all, it looks and feels like a beach house rather than a condominium because it is oversized at 1500 square feet as well as light-filled, with a view to the south and to the east. Walk out the back door to the beach!
