Mer Sea was perfect! The condo is impeccably maintained and has all of the amenities you could every want. The first floor location makes it ideal for coming and going to the beach. The complex is quiet and beautifully maintained. I've already recommended Mer Sea to several friends and we'll definitely be back!

Perfect location- step right from the condo onto the white powdery sands of Crystal Beach. This unit in Crystal Dunes is ideally situated on the first floor corner/end - right beside your parking space. We knew we had chosen the perfect spot as soon as we walked through the front door. Cynthia, the owner, made us feel right at home, providing us with a welcome letter and even fresh flowers. She could not have been more accomodating, answering emails and phone calls before our arrival. This condo has everything you will need for an enjoyable week on the beach.We are already planning on next return. Thank you, Cynthia!!!

Let's face it! When it comes to condos in Destin.... There are many to choose from. This is THE PERFECT CONDO! Not only is the location PERFECT, but the owners actually care about YOU! It is so clean! The furniture is super comfy! The view is great! The access to the beach is perfect! I could go on and on..... I love this condo!!!!!!

We have been going to Destin for over 15 years. We have now found our spot in paradise. This is a great location to everything. To be able to sit on the patio and feel like you are right on the beach to watch the sunset everyday instead of way up on a highrise was priceless!! The layout of the condo is perfect with beautiful furnishings. Can't wait to go back!!The owners a great to work with. They even called to make sure everything was ok with the unit. If you are going to stay in the Florida Panhandle you have to stay here.

My husband, two girls and parents stayed in this unit and it was fabulous. The first floor, corner unit with patio looking right out to the beautiful white sands and blue water was perfect. This unit is very spacious and sunny and has plenty of lounging and 'hanging out' room. My girls were asked to be in a beach wedding and this provided the perfect spot to have fun and relax between wedding events.

Condo is clean, up-to-date, and especially important to us with young kids is being on the first floor. No waiting for elevators!!! There is only about 35 units and lots of private beach. We have been going to destin for about 12 years, staying several different places. Crystal Dunes, and especially this unit is the best. We will use it every year.

My wife, daughter and I have spent summer vacations in Destin 8 of the past 10 years. We were fortunate enough to find Crystal Dunes #101 a few years ago and just returned from our 4th week-long stay in the unit in the past 5 years. Because we're experienced Destin renters, I'll start with the first reason you should consider this property: the owners, Rick and Cynthia. Your experience will begin with excellent communication from your initial inquiry until you leave Destin for home, they're unbelievable - their objective is to make you feel like you own the place, if only for the week! Second, because #101 is on the ground level and the nearest unit to the beach stairs, you have the shortest and most convenient route to the beach of any Crystal Dunes unit - other renters told us they were jealous!! Finally, the pictures on the website don't do the unit justice, it's even prettier in person and is, by far, the cleanest unit we've ever rented. The owners have gone to great lengths to upgrade the property each year and have made it incredibly comfortable. My family and I plan to spend another wonderful week in Crystal Dunes #101 next summer while we continue to create memories we know will last a lifetime.

Oh how we miss you Crystal Dunes! We loved our stay in this spaceous beautiful condo. We loved being on the first floor and being able to just walk out the back door and straight to the beach and to the pool! The convenience with having three little girls, one of which is only 16 months was what made my time more enjoyable. I could sit on the back porch and listen to the waves for hours. We hope to spend many more family vacations here at Crystal Dunes!!! Cynthia was a pleasure to work with and was great to recommend some nice restaruants for us to try out!! Thanks!!!

We loved the location of this property -nearby to Destin Commons, Publix, etc- and also not far from heart of Destin or Sandestin/Outlets. The unit itself is very well located, as you literally step outside the backdoor and walk a few steps to the stairway to the beach. Really great for us, as we have two small children and are constantly back and forth from the beach to the condo. Can't say enough about how convenient this is. It's probably the easiest unit in the building to get down to the beach. The pool is a 1 minute walk from the front door (but no noise from the pool or anything). The unit is in immaculate shape and has beautiful views. Lots of FL sunshine with all the extra windows. Kitchen is well stocked with cooking tools and cups/plates/etc if you plan to be cooking in. There are also 2 chairs and umbrella set up each day that come with rental fee - also quite convenient. The property has gated entry which is a nice amenity. Great time, great place to stay! Highly Recommend!

We have visited Destin many times over the years and leased multiple properties; this property is truly exceptional. It is in one of the most desirable locations on Crystal Beach with respect to quality of beach, dining, and shopping. The access and convience to the beach cannot be overstated, it is literally steps away. The property is spacious and bright with a great floor plan and stunning views. Another exceptional feature was the condition of the property; this unit was absolutely immaculate. Very clean and well appointed with everything you will need in the kitchen. Another great feature were the beds, they were very comfortable and again much better than what we have experienced with other units. Cynthia and Rick were great and conducted the lease in a very friendly professional manner. Cynthia went out of her way to make our stay special. Thank you both for such wonderful accomodations.

We decided to come down to the beach fairly last minute, and I am SO glad we did. What a beautiful condo, well appointed, and the location is AMAZING. Cynthia (the owner) was a joy to work with, so helpful with suggestions and things to do in the area, she made sure we were well taken care of. She definitely has an amazing gift of hospitality. The proximity to the beach is more than perfect for kids, our children (ages 2 and 4) had more fun than they ever have at the beach. They slept late and napped perfectly every day! I can't WAIT to come back! Thank you for the most amazing and relaxing trip. We will be returning for sure! Our children LOVED playing in the fountains at Destin Commons as well as the beach and pool of course! The whole trip was just perfect.

We had the best vacation here!! Everything was sooooo perfect!!! We have already decided that we want to come back every year! We truly felt like we had the entire beach to ourselves. We took such advantage of the front patio...it was perfect while our baby was napping and we still felt like we were right on the beach while sitting there. It was some of my favorite moments on the trip. So peaceful! Also we loved the decorating and top notch bathroom, kitchen, etc. We truly appreciated all the little details, sound machines, plush towels, even fresh flowers upon arrival! It was the perfect vacation, we will be back! April was a perfect time of year to go, after Spring Break crowds and before the summer crowds and the weather was great! Cynthia is fantastic to work with, so thorough and helpful. It is very evident that she truly cares about her guests and their stay.

Magnificent View!

My husband and I spent the week of Thanksgiving at Mer-Sea and we could have stayed forever! It was so very peaceful, restful, and beautiful. The condo was beautifully decorated and very well-maintained. We spent a great deal of time sitting on the patio people watching and enjoying the roar of the Gulf. I cooked a big breakfast every morning in the lovely kitchen and found everything I needed to accomplish that with ease. We chose to eat our other meals out and were never disappointed. There are so many wonderful restaurants to choose from, and you will find prices to fit any budget. We chose to spend our time catching up on some much-needed rest, but there are endless choices of things to do for every age group. We have been fortunate enough to travel to many beach locales including Hawaii, California, Oregon, South Carolina and the Virgin Islands, but we agree that there isn't prettier white sand and emerald green water anywhere! The owner was very accomodating and forthcoming with restaurant suggestions and general information. We definitely give Mer-Sea an A+!!

Our family absolutely loves Mer Sea! We have stayed here four years in a row and look forward to our stay here next year. The location is excellent - steps from the sand, low rise building so the beach isn't crowded, and central to any location we visit (Ft. Walton Beach, Seaside, or just staying in town). We especially enjoy the beautiful sunrises and sunsets from the deck - and you never know when you may see a dolfin jumping out in the water! September is an excellent time to visit. After Labor Day, the summer crowd has subsided - we rarely have to wait at a restaurant and the street traffic is less. Plus, the water is still warm enough to swim in enjoyably and the sun shines bright enough to extend our summer tans! If you're planning on coming to Destin, plan on staying here. The unit owners are great to work with and the location is awesome! That's why we can't stay away!

We do an annual girls' trip to Destin, and this is the best condo we've stayed in over 17 years. Very nicely decorated, and we loved the location. You practically fall out of the back door onto the beach! We highly recommend it!

"Wow! What a great condo!! More than we expected... Pictures on the website very accurate! Right on the 1st floor and an end unit...we felt like we had our own house on the beach. We didn't have to bother with stairs and could walk right out to the beach. Beautifully decorated, great floor plan and tons of room. It accommodated 4 adults easily. We all agreed we could live there full time! Location is so close to everything...easy walk or 2 minute ride to shopping, movies and great restaurants. We plan to go back in the future. This is an absolutely beautiful spot to stay. The end unit is so convenient to the beach, for unloading the car, and the rinse-off shower. The owners are wonderful to rent from. We found the kitchen so well-stocked with appliances and utensils. The unit was clean and the complex is centrally located to everything. Can't wait to go back!

Awesome location! Minutes from the heart of Destin, even closer to The Destin Commons shopping center. Also easily access Sandestin, Outlet malls, and even the 30-A area. Best of all - STEPS from the beach. This is the closest unit in all of Crystal Dunes to the beach. No sandy elevators, just step out the back door and down the stairs and -VOILA- white, sandy beach! Plenty of good things to report about the interior unit - brightly decorated, beautiful artwork, lots of natural light as it's an end unit. No 80's beach decor in this condo! This unit is fabulous! The living space is "extra spacious," and the floor-plan is perfect. Our favorite thing about this unit is the EASY beach access. No long boardwalks, elevators...which means so much when you have 3 kids under the age of 5 years old. We were able to go up and down with ease. The pool is right by the front door, so you can go swim with ease as well. Also, we loved the bedrooms being in the "back" by the front door because we could look out at the beach while we were cooking and hanging out in the living area. Also, you can park by the back entrance, and it was so nice to be able to unload kids and groceries without having to ride elevators and climb stairs. The kitchen is stocked well, so we were able to cook with ease. I would definitely recommend this unit and will rent again. One more thing we enjoyed was the free wireless internet access.

Crystal Dunes 101 was the Crystal Dunes model unit when we purchased it. We immediately named it MerSea, thankful for the Lord's mercy that allowed us to become owners of this wonderful unit. It has been a very popular rental unit always in high demand. Because the floor plan consists of two living areas, it is unique. The location on Scenic Gulf Hwy, in Destin is ideal, close to Destin Commons, Kelly Plantation and Regatta Bay golf courses,and fine dining. Because we live in the Destin area, we are very hands on and particular about the unit, wanting this unit to exceed your expectations in every way.
