Built in 2004, and located in the meadow village of Big Sky, it lies less than a mile from local restaurants, stores and supermarkets. The chalet is convenient to all of the incredible recreational activities that the area has to offer. In any season, you will find this a beautiful and exciting destination.

In winter, Big Sky has over 4000 feet of vertical drop and over 150 named ski runs. All levels of skiing are accommodated, and snow is reliable, averaging over 400 inches of powder per year. Moonlight offers a more intimate experience and great service to complement its larger neighbor. An available combined lift ticket accesses both resorts, making it the most territory accessed by a single lift ticket in the nation. Best of all, lift-lines are a rare sight!Free 'snow shuttle' service is offered to the ski area from the subdivision.

Other winter activities include cross-country skiing at world-renowned Lone Mountain ranch, and snowmobile/snowcoach tours to Yellowstone National Park.

Spring and summer bring opportunities for hiking, mountain-biking, rafting and fly fishing. The Gallatin and nearby Madison rivers are world-famous blue-ribbon trout streams. Yellowstone NP and the Gallatin National Forest offer hundreds of square miles of pristine rocky mountain scenery for your enjoyment. Wildlife is abundant in the immediate area.

The chalet comes with a custom made guide to local activities, recreation, and restaurants. The owners know the area intimately, and will provide you with great inside information.
