Like our address implies, #1 White Sands Place is a pristine beachfront location. I hope never to leave this lovely property. I find great joy in being able to share our dream home with folks from all over the world. What a fun and fulfilling way to make a living from home.

I love Kailua Beach! I grew up in this charming community and appreciate it more every day. My dad was the local Jeweler and my mom a dynamic Real Estate Broker... They are still happily living together just a few blocks away. Having traveled extensively throughout the United States, Europe, Asia and the Pacific has allowed me see many beautiful places and stay in fabulous resorts. This vacation home is unbelievably wonderful. I was looking for the perfect place and this was it! There are 2 spacious apartments on the ground level of a very large home. Both apartments are private, have their own lanais and both spaces are decorated beautifully. The beach is so close you can clearly hear the ocean and the winds coming in the windows at night makes sleeping a most pleasurable experience, especially in the large daybed, surrounded by windows. Monica supplies your apartment with all you need and more. There are board games, everything for cooking/eating, towels, etc. She has boogie boards, lawn chairs and other fun on the beach items. Not to mention an outdoor shower. You can use the BBQ out in the yard and there are places to sit and eat outside, while watching the ocean that are absolutely breathtaking. You don’t want to stay anywhere else if you can get this place as it is clean, very well maintained and Monica is available for any questions you may have. She has even made a book of local activities to help guide your stay in Kailua. I watch VRBO pretty regularly for both good deals and places that look like they would be comfortable, private and serene. Nothing I found after much searching was even close to the deal this is, especially with what you all get and how stunning this place is. The house is on the very end of it's street, so it is closest to the ocean of all the properties around it. You can't get more beachFRONT than this. The pictures shown here are good, but in no way can capture how nice this place is. Honestly: Stay here, you will not be disappointed in any way.

Early January, 2012. What a delightfully, beautiful beach house. We were extremely satisfied with our accommodation, as it is so much more than what can be seen from the website pictures. As for the beach: What a view we had – just wonderful to sit in the living room and look out and see the ocean. And, when you want to get on the beach to walk, run, or swim, it’s just a few steps away. The owner has created a wonderful home. Added lighting both inside and out enhances the atmosphere here. Inside the unit there is an abundance of area lighting options to set the mood and dimmer switched lighting to make it just right. Outside, the stucco walls are imbedded with beautiful (art-glass) flower arrangements that are spotlighted after dark. Of course the garden landscaping is a real treat as well, and several trees have subdued lighting on them in the evening. There is plenty of comfortable seating outside to enjoy the sun or shade with separate seating arrangements to accommodate all who stay. The owner is very personable, friendly and happy to help with any questions you may have. We plan to come back as often as we can to this paradise home.

It doesn't get any better than this! The Kailua beach is one of the very best in the world, and this property takes full advantage of it. It is nestled in a maturely landscaped, tropical setting with undulating grass, trees, and seating areas from the doorstep to the sand of the beach. The exterior pictures don't do justice to its size, lushness, and maturity. In addition, each "suite" has its own covered lanai. As one who can only take so much sun married to one who can't get enough, this property was perfect for both of us. I found the listing a little confusing, but here's the deal: the two downstairs suites make up the first floor of this modern house and are well laid out. There's nothing funky about their separate arrangement. If rented together for a larger group, you would have duplicate kitchens and eating areas and more separation than a typical house, but there would be definite advantages to the set up with teenagers or couples traveling together. The units are similar, although one is a little larger. Both consist of a bedroom with king bed, bath, kitchen, sitting and dining area. The living areas of both maximize the beach view. Each include a large sliding glass door set at an angle which allows for a separate covered lanai right outside the door and overlooking the yard. None of the pictures I saw showed the sliding glass doors, but, trust me, the living areas feel open and the views are stellar! The interior finishes of stone and granite are attractive, high end, and practical for indoor-outdoor living. Both suites also have their own convenient off-street parking. Worried about renting right under the owner? Don't be! Monica is as nice as she sounds on the phone and she has a life of her own. She grew up on the island and embodies the aloha spirit! We can't wait to return.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our time at this property. We were steps from the sand and the views from inside the unit were priceless. The Kailua beach is breathtaking and allows for long walks with countless beautiful homes bordering the beach. The proximity to Honolulu allowed us to also experience Waikiki but at the end of the day we could retreat back to our peaceful surroundings. The owner is delightful and very accommodating. Would return without hesitation!
