  My family of 2 couples, Grandma, and 4 grandkids (ages 6 - 2 months) stayed here this year. We had a great week. The proximity to the beach was wonderful, we particularly appreciated all the toys and the wagon to haul things to the beach . We spent a lot of time in the pool; it did need extra water added midweek, to make the waterfall work (as the yard service explained). We really liked the warm outside shower. The property was clean and well maintained. We were disappointed that the fourth bedroom (Murphy bed) was the entry point into the house. We had planned to have children in that room and the parents were uncomfortable with the outside access that couldn't be completely secured (in case a child awoke and opened the door). Otherwise, the house was well supplied and very functional. We were also surprised that we were asked to launder the sheets and towels before going to the airport. Having used all the beds, this was a lot of laundry.

Also, we have four bedrooms that can be used by adults or children.   I have just returned from a week's March Break family holiday at Beach Splendor. Since it was our first time holidaying together, I wanted it to be special and I wasn't disappointed. There were 10 of us(6 adults + 4 children) and it worked wonderfully. Clean and spacious we never had the feeling of being crowded and there were a number of outdoor spaces where we could curl up and read etc. A couple of mins.walk to the end of the street brought us to the beach. The neighbourhood is lovely. There were plenty of beach/sand toys for the children and a large wagon to carry all our supplies. Although I wasn't looking for a pool in my search, it turned out to be great entertainment for the children;a real bonus. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare our meals. Although we ate in, there were plenty of restuarants to choose from on the strip. Lots of activities at Clearwater Beach and within an hour + drive, Busch Garden (better than Disney World with many rides and lots of shade)and Adventure Island. The children loved both. I would highly recommend this rental especially for a large group, everyone wanted to go back next year. Thanks!!!

  This house was exceptional! It was obvious there was a lot of care taken to provide beautiful furniture and décor. I was also very impressed with the cleanliness of the home. All of the conveniences were available - a kitchen stocked with all items needed for cooking, blow dryers, movie videos, books, games, air mattresses and pool toys. All that you need to bring with you are clothes and food. Cable TV and Internet are provided as well. We were there in late October and the weather was beautiful! The ocean was only a three-minute walk from the house, and they even had a large wagon for beach chairs, towels, drinks/food, etc.! We really enjoyed having our own private heated swimming pool. We ate most of our meals outside right at the home, and there was plenty of seating to accommodate our large group. It was so relaxing to sit around the pool and enjoy the beautiful landscaping and the sound of the pool fountain. While in Clearwater Beach we enjoyed a boat tour, kayaking, visiting “Winter” (the dolphin with the prosthetic tail) at Clearwater Aquarium, saw a school of dolphins, went on bike rides, and shopped and ate in downtown Clearwater Beach. The location was convenient for shopping, dining and tourist attractions. We went with four couples on this trip. We were so happy with this home - “Clearwater Beach Splendor” - that we plan to return for a vacation with our entire family!

  Just got home and hated to leave....wish we could have stayed forever, the house was wonderful and the location to the beach was great. This vacation was to be bittersweet, my best friend just passed away in January and we were going to get away for some much needed relaxation and a chance to take in all that had happened and enjoy the time in this house with her husband and 3 small children that I was now nanny to as well as my own 4 children and husband. The house was just as described and the photos shown do not do the house justice. It was extememly beautiful inside and out. The owner was extremely helpful in answering all of my questions and concerns. I would recommend this property to anyone who loves the beach and Florida living. I grew up going to Florida and spending lots of time on Clearwater Beach since my parents owned property and a business, this house brought it all back for me and made me want to own my own piece of Florida. We enjoyed the Brown Boxer, and the local shops and especially our all time favorite Frenchy's. All of the locations of Frenchy's are great, our favorite is Rockaway, watching the sunset while enjoying great food. I also love to frequent Frenchy's store next to Frenchy's Original Cafe, as usual I left all my money there but I always bring home a little bit of Clearwater and Frenchy's to get me to the next visit. This house was great and very clean and well kept and helped to heal this family and let us move on, we can't wait to book it again next year when we head down to renew our wedding vows on the beach. In addition Patty was very nice and helpful with some questions we had once we arrived. This house was also very pet friendly to our 3 small dogs who loved it as much as we did. Thanks for the most perfect vacation, we will be back.

  We have been visiting Clearwater beach for over 20 years and have finally found a gem. Really loved the location, the house, the furnishings, the decor and the quirky original features. As we had our baby granddaughter with us it was really handy to have the quaint highchair and the travel cot available. All the family loved the pool. We would definately visit again and recommend to others.

  Recommended for: Age 55+, families with young children.

  We had a fantastic time at Clearwater Beach Splendor! The house is beautiful - clean, comfortable, spacious, bright, and relaxing. Everything you need is there - fully furnished with cooking supplies, books, movies, games, etc. Each room is nicely decorated, with restful beds. The pool is perfect – we spent several afternoons lounging on the pool chairs, soaking in the sun, jumping in to cool off, and enjoying the gorgeous landscaping around the pool of tropical flowering plants in bright yellows and pinks. The rest of the grounds are just as lovely, including a swinging bench to relax in the shade. Just a couple blocks to the beach on the quiet end of Clearwater Beach, with miles of sandy beach to walk, run, and explore – found lots of shells, sand dollars, and even saw dolphins close to the shore! Yet we were happy to still be within walking distance to downtown and enjoyed good food and drinks with live music. This was the perfect trip of much needed sun and relaxation – we will definitely be back!!!

  This is a fabulous house to rent! Very clean, spacious, lots of room. The beach is a short walk (2 minutes) and the pool keeps the kids busy. The kids enjoyed the beach & swim toys available also. Clearwater Beach is a wonderful place to visit, lots to do and great restaurants to try. Some of our favorites we did this vacation was fishing with Captain Brian, spring training baseball games, Pirate sunset cruise, Tampa Bay Lightening Hockey games & Busch gardens. Our party of 9 had a great vacation - made lots of memories and was sad to have our week come to the end. We are making plans to make this a yearly trip. I highly recommend this property for rent when in the area all activities are only a short drive away (15-30 minutes). You & your family will enjoy this house & area and have a wonderful vacation like us.
