We just got back from our vacation and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We kept saying, "this condo has everything". It's fully appointed, recently remodeled, good layout, and it's equipped with all the comforts of home. The pool was perfect for kids (shallow end at 3 ft, that extends to deeper for swimmers). The grounds are amazing, very well maintained with koi ponds, bbqs, tennis court, putting green. The washer/dryer were very convenient as well. Check-in was easy, just like you would for a hotel. There are buckets/shovels, boogy boards, beach chairs, umbrella, floaties, snorkels, lots of beach towels. The furniture is nice. The lanai is a great view, water is closer than I expected. Enough room for everyone. Made the trip enjoyable for the grandparents, us, and the kids. Thanks!

This was absolutely the best vacation ever. There were 9 of us me, the kids and grand kids. The condo was perfect for the entire family. With 3 bedrooms and 3 TV's everyone got to do what they wanted on their down time. We ate most of our meals at home and the BBQ's pool side were awesome. The grand kids loved the evenings because the frogs were out. Everyone had such a good time that we are planning to go back next year!

We absolutely loved our stay in this beautiful condo! This was my 4th trip to Maui and the Papakea resort, but first stay in this unit. I was exceptionally pleased with the choice - this unit was VERY nicely updated from floor to ceiling! You instantly feel "at home" as soon as you set foot inside. While we only had a party of 4 staying on this trip, we absolutely loved the space this condo provided and really appreciated the 3 full baths. You could easily accommodate 8-10 people comfortably. The condo was completely stocked with all the beach gear you could need from beach chairs, boogie boards, six sets of snorkel gear, beach towels, sunscreen...the list goes one. For those who want to stay plugged-in on your trip, there were 3 Plasma TVs, DVD Player, Stereo, Computer with Printer and free Wi-Fi. While this may sound silly, one of the things I appreciated a lot was the sectional sofa in the living room - so much more comfortable than the typical island style rattan furnishings. It gave ample room for each of us to stretch out and be completely comfy while we visited and watched movies. Another big plus was that each bedroom and the loft had individual AC units as well as ceiling fans, so you were never hot and sticky - although we had such strong trade winds on our stay that we just opened the windows and went with nature's AC most of the time. This unit is situated straight back from the pool, so you have lovely garden, pool and ocean views from the lanai. I honestly can't think of anything you might need or want that this unit didn't have. I highly recommend this condo for your next visit to Maui!

We visited Maui in May 2010. We loved this condo. There was plenty of space for everyone. We had 7 people that traveled together. The property was well maintained and beautiful, so peaceful. The condo was very beautiful and super clean. This is one of the most exceptional places we have ever rented. The condo was well stocked with everything from snorkel equipment to grilling equipment. There were plenty of dishes and flatware for everyone. There were practically new televisions in the two rooms and living room. The loft had plenty of room with tons of drawer space and closet space. The bathrooms were gorgeous. We truly believe we picked the best in Maui. The grocery store was just across the street, which was very handy. Lahaina was great, we tried to see everything in town that we could. Try to go to the Gazebo at Napili Beach and have the macadamia nut pancakes with coconut syrup, they are the bomb. But get there early because this place has a line starting at 7 in the morning, that's how great they are. The owners of this property are so helpful, accomodating and very easy to contact. If I ever had a question, it was answered quickly and I had contact numbers and emails anytime I had a question. I hope to return to Maui and would definitly love to stay here again. If you plan to take a self guided tour of Hana Hwy, I left a CD that we purchased along the way. Check it out if when you go! If you go to Hawaii, you should definitely know that this is one of the best places to stay and the cost is extremely reasonable. LOVED IT! LOVED IT! LOVED IT!

We had an awesome time in this amazing condo. I totally agree with the previous comments, this condo is so well stocked, clean and comfy, I would definitely go back. What a great experience we had at Papakea! The condo was very nice and well stocked. Nice job on the remodel. We had 10 family members staying at the condo and it accomodated us nicely. Beautiful atmosphere and great people all around.

Pictures on website are not accurate for this unit, IT’S SOOOO MUCH BETTER ! We just returned from our week at Papakea and what a time we had. My wife and I and the five teenagers we brought along all had an INCREDIBLE time ! I was concerned we would be pretty far back from the beach given the resort layout, but it’s so much closer than the pictures look. We could hear the surf from the Lanai and the sunsets were spectacular ! Christine and the owners have gone to the extreme to make sure EVERY thing you could possibly need is in the condo. Boggie boards, spices, blenders, baggies, it was all there. Way to go. We rent a lot of condo’s and vacation homes around the country and this one beats them all hands down. It was so well stocked and made to feel SO at home. We hated to leave ! Thanks for providing a first class accommodation in the heart of paradise. It is a great location, close to so many great things we never left West Maui all week. The grounds at the resort are so well maintained. We all had a wonderful time thanks for the beautiful furnishings and spending the resources to make the remodel so beautiful and elegant yet feeling very much Hawaiian. Well Traveled in Georgia

We loved the condo! We could not have ask for a more perfect set-up for the 6 of us. Everything we needed was there from the snorkeling equipment to the beach towels. We left Maui for Oahu and stayed at the Hilton Hawaiian Village all of us kept saying how much we missed the condo. Thank you so much.

We are sooo sad that we have to leave this wonderful place! We only got to stay for 10 days but the condo instantly felt like home. :) We were extremely impressed by how well equipped the rooms & particularly the kitchen was. WOW! You really put a lot of time, effort and money into this place which was sincerely appreciated. I really think this is the nicest unit at Papakea and we will be sure to recommend you to all of our friends, especially the ones with kids-what an awesome place for young families! Christine, Thank you so much for the use of the condo last week and the welcome gift. The roofing was noisy and somewhat messy, but we were usually out of the condo when they were working and we easily swept up the visible dirt on the floor. I'm sure you had to do a more thorough cleaning after we left! We could not ask for a better "Home Base" while we were there. It was central to everything we wanted to do and the three separate bed/bath areas were perfect for our needs. The snorkeling gear and boogie boards were well used. Everything we needed was provided==all we added was food. It was a great home away from home. We enjoyed the view, many whales, lanai, pool, and putting green as well as the beach and sun. Some of our favorite things were: time together as a family, the flowers, the beach, swimming, snorkeling, the volcano trip, the Road to Hana, and surf lessons.
