The photos and reviews hardly capture the serenity and beauty of this house and the property. We loved the art, photos, kitchen, music system and fire pit. The garden and outside sitting areas are very peaceful with the soothing river sound and bubbling fountains. This property is perfect for personal reflection, holding a small workshop or just some chill time with your partner or two couples. There is no grocery stores or many restaurants nearby so bring some great ingredients and create your own culinary masterpieces.

What an amazing property! The house, the cottage and the grounds were gorgeous and well appointed. The pictures really do not do it justice. The kitchen was fully stocked with all that we needed for gourmet cooking. Our group of 7 had everything that we could have possibly needed. Teresa was great to work with, and even had 2 bottle of wine chilled for us upon arrival. Thank you Teresa for making our stay such a memorable one. We will certainly be back.

We stayed in the main house for a family celebration/reunion. It was immaculate, and charming, providing the perfect setting for our gathering. Being nursery people, we were enchanted by the river setting and the gardens. There is wonderful art work close by, salamanders and pollywogs in the small pools, friendly neighbors, and a sweetness to all. It is magical to fall asleep to the sound of rain falling on big leaf maples, with the river running in the background. Beauty all around.

This cottage is very quaint and clean and charming. The setting is unbelievable with beautiful gardens and fountains and little trails throughout the property, which sits right on the Blue River. It was very peaceful and relaxing to stay there and the owners were very accomodating and friendly. I would definitely recommend it and would love to go back there again someday. Hiking in the Three Sister's Wilderness Area is close by and a drive up to McKenzie Pass in amazingly beautiful, even if you are not a hiker. Recommend Mathieu Lakes and Obsidian Cliffs for day hikes...wow!

I have had the pleasure of staying at this cottage on multiple occasions and ever time, it excedes my expectations. The setting is beautiful, serene and a perfect retreat from city life. In addition to relaxing on the patio with the sounds and sites of the river, there's wonderful hiking, rafting and golfing nearby. I've had the luxury of staying in the cottage during the winter and the summer and no matter the season, it's clean, cozy and comfortable. The owners are wonderful and arranging for my stays have always been easy and pleasant - the perfect way to start the perfect vacation. I cannot recommend the peace and quiet of this beautiful setting enough.
