Bonn, Germany Summer Vacation.

Welcome to our European home! This is a 147 square meter (1582 square foot), 3 bedroom, 1.5 bath, large apartment that is just 250 meters from the Rhine river in Bonn, Germany. We live next to a gorgeous 400 acre leisure city park that runs along the Rhine River (many playgrounds).

Kitchen extras: American refrigerator/freezer, microwave, oven, juicer, waffle iron, blender, toaster, 2 coffeemakers, dishwasher, and complete with dishes, pots, pans, etc. Iron and ironing board.

Living Room/Entertainment: Satellite TV, 3 seater sofa, 2 chairs, stereo, Euro/US DVD and VHS players... Both with a large selection of movies, original play station with games, wireless internet available.

Dining Room: table with seating for 6 to 8 people.

Bedrooms: 3 fairly large bedrooms. Master has king-size bed, second room has two twin beds (has two mattresses each), third room has one twin bed with two mattresses (extra mattresses can be put on floor).

Balcony: two chairs, small table, and grill.

Suitability: Children welcome, third floor apartment (no wheelchair accessibility), absolutely no pets allowed - sorry.

Local Activities: Rhine river boat rides daily, biking along Rhine, dozens of museums including an Egyptian Sunken treasures exhibit, castles galore, city tour, Beethoven house tour, city swimming pools, and tennis courts.

If you let me know what your interests are, I can leave suggestions and directions on what to see)... Also our 6, 8 and 11 year old have kids' bikes that you can use.

Cologne is only 45 minutes from here and there are so many things to see including the Dom-Europe's largest Gothic cathedral north of the Alps and Trier-the oldest city in Germany is 1.5 hours (1.5 - 2 hours to Netherlands, France, Belgium, and Luxemburg).

Free Parking at apartment... For those of you who are familiar with Europe... Parking can get VERY pricy.

(FYI: We are Americans living in Germany.)

All children under 21 MUST be accompanied by an adult. You will be required to fill out a rental agreement.
