BEAUTIFULLY FURNISHED and PROFESSIONALLY DECORATED, the cabin even has a KING-SIZE BED in the first floor master bedroom. The loft bedroom has a QUEEN-SIZE SLEIGH BED and its own bath with a large shower. Small pets are allowed with permission and smoking is allowed on the decks.

Me with Jacob, one of my 8 grandkids. My wife & I spend the summer at our other cabin in the area. The rental cabin was built on five acres for our 4 sons & their wives, & 8 grandkids & our friends to use. We keep it fresh & extra clean for them & any other guest.
Why the Owner Chose Murphy
Murphy is a wonderful place. Its downtown area has many of the shops you would fine in a small town in the 1970s. A corner Rexall drug store with a soda fountain, a corner ice cream/candy store, good family restruants & many small churches. A river runs thru town with a park for lunch. In the area are 5 golf courses & 5 lakes for boating, fishing & swimming. Free tennis courts are available in town. A large game center with go carts, mini golf, electronic games, lazer tag, baseball batting cages, rock climing wall, a little kids area & a six screen movie theatre is only 30 mins. away. The two gourges nearby, where the mountain water rushes down the mountain year around, are cool & beautiful with many picnic areas & great white water rafting & trout fishing. Murphy is also close to Ashville, the Biltmore House & Dollywood. We love it & you will too. Frank

Really quiet way up on a mountain, but blacktop made it easy to reach even on the steep road. Was only about 20 minutes to Murphy, NC. Really well supplied with everything you need, and with true logs and wood paneling everywhere, it was very cozy. Our teenage son who loved the open loft second bedroom said it was his favorite cabin so far. Water pressure was a bit low while we were there so we did not use the whirlpool tub. The wireless was also not working but the Ethernet connection was. Very nice owners offered to fix the wireless but by then we'd decided that we did not mind not being so plugged in! We could not get AT&T cell phone in the area very well, but that too suited the get-a-way mentality. The puzzle in the log cabin is quite a challenge and addicting! We watched TV enough to know that it was great!

We had a great time at the cabin. It was clean, comfortable and very nicely decorated. We spent hours on the deck watching for deer while enjoying the beautiful fall foliage. We even carved a couple of pumpkins for Halloween. Inside we put together 3 of the puzzles. The internet access was fantastic. I used it to stream commercial free movies from our Comcast account. We took several day trips. One to the Museum at Cherokee, one to Etowah, TN to ride the rails, and one to Lookout Mountain in Chattanooga, TN. Even our dog, Snickers, had a great time taking walks on the trails around the cabin and trying to catch the squirrels.

The cabin was perfect, exactly like the pictures, had everything you could possibly need. It was very peaceful and quiet and the scenery was awesome. Our little dog just loved it too!
