My husband and I stayed here recently for 3 nights. The photos made the condo look bigger than it is, but the accomadations were upgraded and well-appointed except for the mattress. I would like to kindly recommend that the owner upgrade the mattress to match the nice upgrade of the condo. The current small-- full size (?)mattress is broken down and caused us to roll into the middle. :) I gather that this Inn is used for one night stays quite a bit as people travel through the valley---there was a constant influx of new people each night, with some confusion as to which condo was theirs; and sometimes they would find "their" condo was not cleaned and made up when they arrived! In which case, they would have to call and get switched to another condo! BUT overall...we had a pleasant stay. The owners were VERY nice and attentive!

My husband and I stayed in a Mountain View condo in January and really enjoyed it. We stayed in a standard room, and it was a little smaller than the pictures make it appear, but still plenty of room and comfortable for the two of us. I loved that it was so clean and newly remodeled. The tile floors were heated and the bed very comfortable. The rustic, cabin atmosphere went perfectly with the beautiful view of the mountains from the back door. The only things I would have changed would have been to have a DVD player (there is a redbox in afton, yay!) and it took a while to heat up the condo because the gas fireplace didn't have much in the way of a fan. I loved it though (especially for the price) and would stay there again in a heartbeat.

Actually, all of the condos have DVD players (some are built into the side of the LCD TVs, others are separate -- yours was probably built into the TV, which can be easy to miss if you're not familiar with those kind.) Also, the blowers on the fireplaces can be turned up to high, and the condos also have in-floor hydronic heating. There is an information guide on these things found inside of each condo, but it can sometimes be missed. We hope that you come and stay with us again, and you can take advantage of these amenities! :) Thanks again for your comment.

I stayed for two nights on business. You cannot beat the feeling of being at home instead of in a room. Total comfort at a price that is unbeatable in the Star Valley area. I will remember the Mountain Inn first when I get back in the area. M.H. Frank LETAC Security Services
