Why stay in a small hotel room when you can have a sunny, spacious condo with a large living room, dining room, full kitchen, two bedrooms and two baths and a deck?! And my place is walking distance to the beach on Long Island Sound and our heated pool!
It has a central AC, a washer/dryer and a fresh coat of paint.
You're just minutes from the wineries, golf courses,restaurants, the Hamptons, outlet shopping, farm stands and antique shops. For the kids,the Atlantis Aquarium and Splish Splash are just 10 minutes away.
The ferry to Mohegan Sun and Foxwoods is about a 20 minute drive. The condo is approximately 2 hours from Manhattan and about 45 minutes from the Port Jefferson Ferry.
If you're looking for peace and quiet, R and R, and access to all the North and South Forks have to offer- with beautiful sunsets- this is the place for you! No smokers and no pets.

My teenage son and I stayed at this lovely Riverhead condo while he was taking a weeklong summer course at SUNY in Southampton. The apartment was clean and bright, located in a quiet, well-kept community and had all the amenities we needed to be comfortable. It was close enough to shopping, restaurants and grocery stores, yet removed enough to feel like you were on vacation near the beach. Nicely furnished and well-equipped, we found the condo suited our needs perfectly. We walked to the beach on Long Island Sound several different times and the sunsets really are gorgeous in July. We didn't use the community pool, but it looked clean and inviting. A walkable community, residents seems open and friendly. We would definitely return again. The owner was very helpful via phone and email --- offering directions and imparting info on how to "manage our stay" --- accessing the pool/exercise facilities, controlling the rental's A/C, suggesting restaurants, disposing of the trash, etc. We had a great time and highly recommend this rental.
