We stayed during the New Year and it was phenomenal. Goegeous high end home with high quality furnishings and amenities. Great floor plan with a master suite to die for. Kitchen is huge and opens to fmaily room great for hangin out and cooking. A bit cold to go swimming but jacuzzi was used and was great. The outdoor cabana is great too and can imagine renting this property during the summer time. We went wine tasting and did some long bike rides. The Michael's have a great property. It is well managed, well cared for, and they are very accomodating. If you rent this home, please take care of it. We are just so happy to have found a property in such fantastic shape and will definitely be back again. Maybe in Temecula #1 or Hawaii! Thanks a bunch!

This was the perfect house for our family getaway to celebrate a birthday and Thanksgiving. It is a beautiful house with a great open floor plan to cook and still be in the same room as everyone else. The pool table, shuffleboard, and foosball table gave hours of fun for the children and adults. Sitting in the jacuzzi watching the sunset over a beautiful scenery was very relaxing. This was a wonderful vacation house to stay in.

Our warmest wishes and a great big thanks to the owners of the Temecula estate for the opportunity to experience a truly unique California lifestyle nestled in between San Diego and Los Angeles. Kudos to Carol for providing excellent advice on local restaurants, markets and shops. Her hospitality was greatly appreciated. This . Our family enjoyed the tranquility of the Temecula Valley, the hot, dry Mediterranean climate, the magnificent pool and Jacuzzi, luxurious amenities, most of all we loved the layout of this 4200 Sq ft., 5 bedroom, single story estate home and its immaculate valley view. We saw scores of rabbits every evening scouring away into the darkness when our car headlights would illuminate the entrance to the estate and lots of birds from eagles souring high in the sky to hummingbirds frolicking among the purple jasmine flowers. The pool and spa were basically the focal point of activities for us and the kids spent hours on end playing in the pool. The game room equipped with pool table, foosball and video library was a treat as well. We truly had a wonderful experience and vacation. The proximity to the rest of Temecula, San Diego and Anaheim was unbelievable, and the weather could not have been better! From the nearby Old Town Temecula with its collection of historic buildings, antique stores and the grand city hall, to the fabulous USS Midway naval aircraft carrier and its amazing vista of the San Diego harbor. During our week-long stay in Temecula we were also able to take day trips to the Carlsbad premium outlets, Disneyland and Disney’s California Adventure, SeaWorld and the San Diego Zoo. For Canadians, this was a real Southern California treat. Thank you once again for a wonderful vacation experience in Temecula, where we created some wonderful memories. We can’t wait to come back. With warm wishes, Andrij, Oksana, Marko and Laryssa (Ottawa, Canada)

Just a note to say we enjoyed our stay at your estate. The property exceeded our expectations. The location of the home, fabulous views, and beautiful interior design topped off a fun family vacation. The large one story estate is perfect for the large range of ages we had - from infant to elderly. Loved playing in the pool, relaxing in the spa, and enjoying the scenery. The mornings here are absolutely spectacular! Hummingbirds playfully zipping through purple flowers and jasmine, hot air balloons floating by… This also is a runner’s paradise with very minimal traffic, challenging hills, and beauty everywhere you turn. Thank you! We will be back soon!

My friends and I (11 adults and two toddlers) stayed here from 7/2-7/9. The house was large enough to fit all of us in one place, so that was good. However, I'd strongly recommend that you consider other options, as we had several issues, and the owners won't properly compensate for any issues you'll encounter. Issues included: - Filthy dishes - in dishwasher *and* kitchen cabinets/drawers - Stray dogs coming onto property and jumping into pool - No internet connectivity - Broken refrigerator that caused us to throw out half of our groceries I informed the owners about the issues that marred our stay, but their response was to offer a discount on a future stay (seriously?). In my opinion, they should've offered to compensate us a couple of hundred dollars or so for not delivering what was advertised. The owners claimed that the dishwasher (which by the way leaked during our stay) was broken and that's why the dishes were filthy. Yet that doesn't explain why there were dirty dishes and utensils inside the kitchen cabinets and drawers when we checked in. Also, the kitchen counters were sticky and dirty (we had to buy our own cleaning supplies to sanitize everything). They claimed they replaced the refrigerator, which seems very unlikely because they made this claim immediately after we checked out. Either that actually happened, or they already knew the refrigerator was broken before our stay, or they're lying. The latter two scenarios seem likely. The owners also claimed that the stray dogs were an anomaly (the dogs jumped into the pool while we were in it, and also mauled a rabbit on the property). However, when we called the caretaker about it, her response indicated that this is a recurrent issue. The situation is simply bad because we had two young kids there, and who knows what those dogs could've done. The owners claim that they are building a second fence around the pool, so future guests, I'd suggest you ask to see proof before you go through with your reservation. Lastly, the house claims to offer wireless access. Except we had no access for nearly the entire stay, and multiple calls to their IT guy went unanswered. Other things -- pool chair cushions were torn and ratty, and the house had coupons with expirations dating back to 2006 (shows lack of maintenance). There are other big, beautiful estates here. Do yourself a favor and rent one of those.
