The Red Fir Resort is a waterfront property that offers Non-Smoking cabins and boat docks. All the cabins are within 300 feet of the lake with some being lakefront. Each cabin has a view of beautiful Lake Pend Oreille. Each cabin has its own private deck where you can have your morning coffee, afternoon snack, and dinner in the evening. The cabins have all the comforts of home, in a spectacular setting.

Located on the David Thompson Game Preserve, the resort allows our guests the opportunity to interact with the area wildlife one on one. Many of the local deer are friendly, and some even have names. The resort gives you the best of both worlds by being centrally located on the lake. Giving you the quiet and peaceful setting of a rural area with access to all the things you want on your vacation. You can relax on the deck, reading, and visiting with family and friends, or spend the day enjoying the lake.

If you are a golfer, you can golf the Destination Golf Course, Hidden Lakes, where the moose and elk wander across the fairway. The hiking and biking trails are a plenty, from easy to difficult. Going up the Clark Fork River Delta is breathtaking, with wildlife and unbeatable scenery, it is an experience you don't want to miss. Many of the fishing charters are located a half mile across the bay and will pick you up at the resort for a day of fishing on the lake.

You can sit back and watch a spectacular sunset as you wind down from a wonderful vacation day. Most often fall is the season for an Indian summer with serene sunny days and cool evenings. You can enjoy the splendor of seasonal changes in uncrowded spaces. The foliage looks as though someone applied the color with a magical paintbrush.
