This delightful year-round home on Cousin's Island sits one bridge away from Yarmouth's mainland and at the end of a road directly on the water with great views and privacy. Just 1/2 hour from Portland Jetport & 20 Min. from the Old Port.
The grounds are immaculate and the interior is spotless, bright and unique. The living area is all open with vaulted ceilings and floating white-washed beams. If you are cooking, dining or just relaxing you can still speak to everyone in your group as well as look out the full glass front at the waterfront. The deck is the full length of the house and faces the ocean. There is also a screened porch and open side porch.
The Master Bedroom is on the same level as the living space and also has vaulted ceilings with skylights to see the stars at night. It is attached to a master bath with a full size tub/shower & laundry set up.The other bedrooms are on the lower level with their own access to the covered patio. The lower level bathroom is a 3/4 bath with stand up shower & boasts a sauna room. At the landing you will find a desk set up to use your computer on the wi-fi as well as an open sitting area.
Views include the next island, Littlejohn and out towards Chebegue Island, all in Casco Bay. At low tide for about 2 hours the wildlife comes on to the flats and the clam diggers come & go. At high tide you can launch a kayak right off the end of the grassy waterfront area.
