It has all the amenities of a hotel, but the availability of cooking and refrigeration in the condo and lovely furnishings.
The balcony overlooks the Bay of Banderas as well as the beautiful mountainous area of Amapas. Only a fifteen minute cab or bus ride to downtown with "shopping till you drop" and five star restaurants if you so choose. There is nightlife galore either downtown or in the Holiday Inn as well as neighboring resorts.
Don't miss the Romatica Zone which is within walking distance from the downtown area of Puerto Vallarta - lots of upscale boutiques for him and her, shoes, furniture, etc.
There are daily trips available to (check with travel agency within Holiday Inn) the Zoo, Botanical Gardens, and Mismaloya (where the film with Elizabeth Taylor starred in The Night of the Iguana). Not to be missed is the Pirate Cruise complete with pirates acting out mock sword fights. If you are adventurous enough there is a bullfight once a week close by.

My husband Stan, and I live and work in a lovely city in Florida -- Sarasota. My husband is a retired Los Angeles talent agent, I, on the other hand work and will probably work until I can't drive anymore, am a realtor. Eventhough our city is a vacation destination for worldwide travelers, we always traveled in Mexico and enjoyed every minute of our vacation there.

My husband and I have been visiting Mexico since 1988 and loved all the different cities we stayed in. Then in 2005 we stayed in a timeshare in Puerto Vallarta. We immediately feel in love with the city, the sights, the sounds, and most of all the warm and friendly people who live there. We both thought what a great idea to buy a condo here. SeaRiver Tower offered everything we wanted in a condo and purchased it immediately. The view from our 16th floor unit is truly spectacular -- it over looks the Bay of Bandaras, downtown Puerto Vallarta, the mountains, and the firworks every night during the holiday seasons.
