* ~ We are happy to announce a change in the laundry responsibilities at Pacifica House ~ upon departure, your responsibility is to wash/dry 1 load of towels ONLY (instead of wash/dry ALL the sheets, bathrobes, and towels). You can just pop the towels in the dryer, and simply press the “On” button, and the housekeeping staff will take it from there, giving you time to take that last walk on the beach, or leisurely sip your coffee on the deck overlooking the ocean. We are pleased to have made this arrangement with our great housekeeping staff.
Welcome to "PACIFICA," located in Bayshore Estates on the central Oregon Coast just north of Waldport, Oregon, and 15 minutes south of Newport. This section of the Oregon Coast is the most spectacular of the entire Pacific Coast - come see for yourself.
You will not want to leave. Help yourself to a Complimentary Bottle of Wine as you luxuriate in the HOT TUB, enjoying expansive ocean views from this Contemporary Home with High Speed Wireless Internet, cathedral ceilings, skylights in every room, natural maple and mahogany wood cabinets, doors, and trim, recessed lighting, custom armoires, glass fireplace, window seats overlooking the ocean, hand-painted tile counters, and see-through neo-angle shower and 2-person Jacuzzi tub, both overlooking the ocean.
The stunning wraparound ocean view deck spans the entire length of the house, providing audience breath-taking Pacific sunsets and whale-watching, with chairs, tables, gas BBQ, and yes, that HOT TUB for your enjoyment. For the ‘little ones’, there is a high chair, porta-crib, stroller, toys, books, games, and videos. After a long day on the 7-mile beach, come in and cozy up around the warm wood fire with a book, game, or movie, or soak in the private HOT TUB under the stars with only the sound of the crashing surf – your terry bathrobe awaits you.
Just steps away is an easy beach access to the 7 miles of flat, white sandy beach to watch whales, climb rocks, and hunt for treasures. From Memorial Day in May through Labor Day in September, enjoy Bayshore Beach Club heated outdoor pool privileges with a small fee.
The house was designed with privacy in mind depicted by a hexagon shaped 24’x32’ great room and adjoining kitchen with a glass, double-sided fireplace in the center. Two baths and separate bedroom suites are located on either side of the house.
Adjoining the living room, the kitchen features a full complement of cooking utensils and modern appliances graced by finely crafted western maple cabinetwork and a functional and beautiful island counter and breakfast bar. The large dining room table is finely crafted of maple and mahogany and seats eight comfortably.
Enter the master bedroom suite to find dreamy half-moon windows and skylights, and custom armoire. Relax in the elegant maple queen bed and enjoy the knock your socks off view of the ocean. The two bedrooms on the opposite side of the great room each have maple queen beds with custom armoires. All bedroom suites have French doors opening to the spacious deck with that incredible ocean view and HOT TUB.

Thank you thank you especially for all the toys, books, etc. for the kids – it rained nonstop almost our entire weekend so these were much appreciated and made our weekend wonderful. Thanks for allowing our family to have some of the best conversations we have had in years in your hot tub! It’s not often we have the chance to do that. Though the weather was rainy, we just stayed at the house, cooked great dinners, got the fire going, and watched movies. My wife loved the pillowtop queen bed-now she wants one! We came here for my birthday celebration and could not have been happier with our selection. The great room feels so spacious that you never felt like you were in each other’s way. The hot tub was the perfect place for us to relax and reconnect with each other – we really appreciated that. We planned to go out to dinner……….but no one wanted to leave, so we just made my birthday dinner at the house! It was an unforgettable birthday. Wonderful home! We are so happy to have found this idyllic spot on the Oregon coast on our way up to Washington. Loved the proximity to the beach, being up a bit where it was not so windy, and just a couple minute walk to the beach. And this beach is amazing – wasn’t sure what to expect but the lack of rocks and ability to walk “forever” was divine. What a slice of heaven you have here. And the WiFi came in very handy for my husband! Selection of books is appreciated. Now – how can we continue on our journey without waking up to…..that view?! We will tell all our friends about Pacifica House – maybe we can all meet here one day. Cheers – and thank you!

Hi Nancy – We had a wonderful time once again in our “home away from home”! My family always wants to return to Pacifica House for our coast getaways, short or long. We recommend any of the hikes at Cape Perpetua where near the beach, the kids found some giant agates which made their day. The coziness, comfortable beds, Jacuzzi in the Master bath, layout of the house, complimentary wine, and wonderful location are some of the many things that keep us coming back year after year. Our stay here was so comfortable, fun, cozy, and r-e-l-a-x-i-n-g! The kitchen was stocked so well with everything you need including an apron which came in handy, and the layout allowed we cooks to talk to everyone while cooking. Wish we had a similar layout at our house! The extras provided such as the wine, and bubble bath for the huge 2-person Jacuzzi tub (my favorite part of the house!) show your thoughtfulness and attention to detail, Nancy. We want to return as soon as possible – it is hard to leave Pacifica House.

What a great escape from busy city life – a well-maintained, clean, spacious home in a central location between Newport and Florence with activities in each direction. We loved the views from the large windows in the Great Room, and the Hot Tub was a big hit with our group, even in the rain! Maybe that made it even better…..great quiet neighborhood. We have found a great spot to return to – thanks.

Pacifica House was just wonderful. The views are incredible and the home is even nicer than the photos depict. The distance to the beach was about 2 minutes which we appreciated. It rained much of the time but we love storm-watching and were so comfortable in the house. I enjoyed the magazines and books! Thank you for the kids things. My husband loved cooking while being able to see the ocean. A great time was had by all of us. We will never forget our time at your home – thank you, Nancy. We are already planning our next trip.

Words can’t describe how Pacifica House allowed us to feel while here – we visited family, got away from the cold/snow in Kansas, and didn’t know how warm it is out here in Oregon in the winter! What a great house to bring everyone together in one big room. It was perfect for us. The kids loved the sand toys, barbies, the hot tub, and the teddy bears. You have thought of everything.
