Location: Tahoe Island Park, South Lake Tahoe, Lake Tahoe South Shore CA, Lake Tahoe California, California, USA (Near bike trail, ride through the pine forest to the beaches)
Accommodations: Cabin, 3 Bedrooms, 2 Baths (Sleeps 8)
You find this peaceful cabin among the pine trees in quiet wooded neighborhood. It provides an ideal family getaway with all the convenience of home, plus that special Tahoe charm.
In the winter you can return from a hard day's skiing to soak your tired limbs in the hot tub, then relax in front of a blazing log fire.
In the summer, spend the day on the beach, biking or hiking in the nearby Desolation Wilderness. Then have a barbeque on the large back deck and look for shooting stars while you soak in the hot tub.
The cabin is close to the 'South Rim Bike Trail' that winds through the pine forest through Camp Richardson to the sandy stretches of Pope Beach and Kiva Beach. We highly recommend this flat paved bike trail and provide bikes for responsible guests to use.
We strive to provide great cabins at a reasonable price and give good service; this is why many of our guests return or send their friends. For more information, pictures and guests' comments please visit our private website.

Owner's Profile
Owner Description
Year Purchased: 2003
We are a family of five that love to go to Tahoe. The mountains, the pine trees and the clear blue lake make you forget about the grind of the 9 to 5 weekday. We love to ski, hike, cycle and walk our dog at the lake. In the evening we buy beer at Mount Tallac brewery and sit on the front porch swing waiting for a bear to come down the street. Then we soak in the hot tub under the stars and collapse in front of the log fire with a good movie.
Why the Owner Chose Tahoe Island Park
We found a neglected cabin in quiet neighborhood, it needed TLC and became our family project.
