This courtyard home is designed in the Bermuda tradition and built with all of the modern amenities. Once inside the expansive courtyard, you will find the main house, a separate master suite cottage, a private pool and covered areas that shade ten sets of french doors leading to the house and the master suite cottage.
Inside this home, you'll find a spacious living room, well appointed dining room and a gourmet kitchen with a six burner Wolfe range and a Sub-Zero refrigerator. Downstairs in the main house is a master bedroom with a king bed. Upstairs are two guest bedrooms -- one with a queen bed and the other with two twin beds. All bedrooms have private baths. The walls are hand-plastered, the floors in the main areas are stone and the bedrooms are quarter sawn, wide plank oak.
The master suite, located in a separate cottage across the courtyard from the main house has 25-foot vaulted cypress ceilings over a four post king bed. There's a spacious closet, large bathroom with a jetted tub and a sunken shower, and a private seating area just outside next to the pool.

Why the Owner Chose Alys Beach
I have loved this area for years. I first got to know Seaside and then Rosemary Beach, both New Urban developments. I had always hoped that someone would take that concept and use a Bermuda style architecture -- Alys Beach did that. They have done a wonderful job developing the concept. They have a great attention to detail and exceeded all of my expectations.
The Unique Benefits at this House
My kids love having a pool right here at the house. While they are waiting for us to get going, they jump in and have a ball. Sometimes we never get to leave the house. When we do, we head to the beach or to the Caliza pool. No matter what, the kids love it -- and when the kids are happy, the parents are happy....
Famous for many things; most recently the setting for the movie The Truman Show. Worth visiting for the shops and restaurants or just to walk around.
The place to go for groceries. There is a liquor store next door too. The Winn Dixie is across the street if that's your preference.
Ok, it might not be an exciting destination, but you might need what they have while you're here.
A great place for a casual lunch or a fabulous dinner. A few hundred yards from the house.
Probably the nicest pool on 30-A. It is worth the trip just to see this pool. It has a great restaurant for lunch and dinner.
A great coffee shop to start your day. A short and pleasant walk from the house.
