    • We have 90 feet of lowbank waterfront with 10 steps going down to the beach from the bulkhead. We supply 2 kyachts and some water life jackets and wet suits. We have the largest sandy beach on the peninsula and our sunsets cannot be beat. We so have a buoy for those of you who can bring your boat. Lots of exploring and golf. Gig Harbor is about 20 minutes away for all those teenagers. You will definitely Make Memories that will last a lifetime.

Why the Owner Chose Lakebay

We love this location because it has one of the most wonderful sandy beaches on the Peninsula. My husband spent his childhood summers just down the road. We were very fortunate to buy this property when it went up for sale being that is was in the same location where my husband grew up. It is a very quite inlet where our family has created lots of great memories over the years.

The Unique Benefits at this House

If your kids love the sun and water this property is for you. We offer kayaking and swimming. Golf can be played at Trout Lake Golf Course in Allyn. All the shopping and restaurants are in Gig Harbor along with Costco right off of Burnham Drive. Evening bonfires are wonderful and very peaceful.

Boat ramp

the boat ramp is across the bay from our home. It is less than 5 minutes by car. There is also a boey to hook up your boat. Please call owners if you are bringing a large vessel.

We are a family of six and emensely enjoy our summers at the beach. The view is spectacular of the Puget Sound. There are plenty of activites for families to enjoy. Beachcoming, Island exploration,golf, good food and long walks on the sandy beach.

We have been having such a wonderful time here at the beach. We arrived September 7th and have stayed the whole week. Now we are preparing to send the kids home and stay another 6 days with just the two of us. It has been such a peaceful and restful vacation. The beach is beautiful and the weather has been fabulous! Even when there are clouds, it is mild. The vacation home is situated in a beautiful cove so it isn't windy or harsh. I've never seen so many sand dollars! All my life I've searched beaches that I've visited looking for one intact sand dollar...unfortunately, I've never found one. But here, on this beautiful sandy beach at low tide, there are thousands of them! Also, there are many cute harbor seals all around the cove. It's so enjoyable to watch them off the deck, or out in the kayaks. I even drove to Target to buy some binoculars to get a closer view of them. The children (ages 11-19) have had a great time paddling around in the kayaks, building sand sculptures, and splashing in the water. There are local amenities that we used to stock the kitchen (Costco, Albertson's, Target), but we didn't eat out because I can't imagine spending vacation time anywhere but here! The property owners have stocked the house with everything we needed to care for us on our vacation. They are also very helpful whenever we have had questions. The vacation rental looks even better in person than in photos! Stay as long as you can, you won't be disappointed.

Recommended for:Pet owners, romantic getaway, adventure seekers, girls getaway, age 55+, families with young children, sightseeing, families with teenagers.

Here's what we enjoyed about staying at this fabulous beach House: Quiet, watching the eagleswhile kayaking. Beach combing, Hottub, friends family and Christmas. Our dog Lilly loved chasing birds and running on the beach.

Enjoyed a delightful and relaxing stay at your lovely and cozy beach house. Learned alot about the water, tides, clams, and sea life while visiting. Watched the sunrises and sunsets upon the water and gorgeous view. We are all grateful you wuld share such a nifty place with others. Thanks.
