  My family enjoyed our stay at Lakebay over the Thanksgiving Holiday. It is a beautiful cozy home right on the water - the views are amazing - even if you can't get out you will love looking out on the water from the large windows overlooking the bay. We were there in the rain so we didn't get out to enjoy the beach much - but with the fireplace, large dining room table, and a great kitchen with everything we needed for our holiday meal we didn't get bored. We played games (they have many - plus puzzles), watched DVDs (we brought our own - there are not many there), and cooked (and ate!) the weekend away. There is a nice mile to 2 mile walk by the water on a road that is little used that lets you burn off some energy, there are local markets close by, the phone reception was great. You can even tap into the internet - but its very slow. The key situation is a little unusual - make sure to ask the owner about it - working with the owners was very enjoyable! Great home - we highly recommend staying there.

  This was our first visit to the Pacific Northwest, and it was truly unforgetable. We didn't get to spend much time at the house because we were on the road so much during the day. It was so nice to come back to a place that felt like home and relax after a long drive exploring the area (The State!). The house had all of the little things that make a stay so much easier - spices, binoculars (we used them to watch seals that came into the water in the evenings!), patio for lovely dinners. We used the kayaks on our first day and paddled out into the bay. I couldn't beleive that was really Mt. Rainier in the distance (70+ miles away). It was amazing to wakin up every moring and look out at the water from the loft bedroom. We met some great people at The Blend Wine Shop up the road. Owners Jeff and Dayl Minch, and Claudia were wonderful to chat with. Thank you for sharing this beautiful home and making our stay comfortable and memorable.

Sometimes they come right up to our bulkhead and are very playful. Having some of those home away from home items around really makes one feel not so far away! I am glad you liked those touches.   We took our adult kids and all their children from 24 yrs to 10 yr old. We had a blast! This place was wonderful... great views, lovely accomodations, very fun for beach combing, kayaking, game playing and just relaxing! Recommend it highly! Very comfortable, plenty of room and really nice. The pictures show how lovely it is. The owners could not have been more helpful in making our time there wonderful.

  We took an early summer family vacation here at LakeBay. Let me just say, the pictures don’t do this place justice. It’s an awesome house, and we loved it!! The house was clean and beautiful, and the landscape well maintained. Our most favorite things about this house were the views and the truly sandy beach. The owners were great to work with, very friendly and accommodating. As soon as we got to the house we were already making plan to come back again, which we will. This place is great for animal lovers, people with kids, families, or a couple get away. What a great place, can’t wait to come back.

  We have been having such a wonderful time here at the beach. We arrived September 7th and have stayed the whole week. Now we are preparing to send the kids home and stay another 6 days with just the two of us. It has been such a peaceful and restful vacation. The beach is beautiful and the weather has been fabulous! Even when there are clouds, it is mild. The vacation home is situated in a beautiful cove so it isn't windy or harsh. I've never seen so many sand dollars! All my life I've searched beaches that I've visited looking for one intact sand dollar...unfortunately, I've never found one. But here, on this beautiful sandy beach at low tide, there are thousands of them! Also, there are many cute harbor seals all around the cove. It's so enjoyable to watch them off the deck, or out in the kayaks. I even drove to Target to buy some binoculars to get a closer view of them. The children (ages 11-19) have had a great time paddling around in the kayaks, building sand sculptures, and splashing in the water. There are local amenities that we used to stock the kitchen (Costco, Albertson's, Target), but we didn't eat out because I can't imagine spending vacation time anywhere but here! The property owners have stocked the house with everything we needed to care for us on our vacation. They are also very helpful whenever we have had questions. The vacation rental looks even better in person than in photos! Stay as long as you can, you won't be disappointed.

  Here's what we enjoyed about staying at this fabulous beach House: Quiet, watching the eagleswhile kayaking. Beach combing, Hottub, friends family and Christmas. Our dog Lilly loved chasing birds and running on the beach.
