Two units are available at this perfect location on the corner of West Main and Chestatee Streets on the historic downtown square in Dahlonega Georgia. The retail stores and restaurants nearby are a destination for thousands of travelers to the North Georgia Mountains every day.
Within a short drive you'll find some of the most beautiful landscape in the region. The Chattahoochee National Forest is home to protected wildlife and hiking trails meandering the vistas. Also, very popular are the many vineyards that are making very good use of the rolling hillsides. Award winning wines are produced at four popular wineries which are open to the public for tastings and tours.
Dahlonega got its start as a gold mining town. This is the site of the first major U.S. Gold Rush in 1828. Across the street from the units for rent is the Dahlonega Gold Museum. The Museum is managed by the U.S Park Service and the staff do a wonderful job explaining the gold rush history.
