We have stayed at Lako House 4 times already and we always enjoy staying...looking at the sunset over the sea is too beautiful for words! Good neighbors here are also important for our children too. The owner is very friendly and flexible to help you so that you have nothing to worry to stay this gorgeous big house!!

Recommended for:Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, romantic getaway.

Aloha Bill, Our Japan group left this morning. They had a great week, and the teacher chaperones from Japan really liked Lako House. The view there is so awesome! Our house is on Kaheiau, but our view is only a fraction of yours. Thank you for giving all of us the opportunity to experience that view. -- The kids went trick-or-treating in the neighborhood last night and had a great time. We know from our own experience that a lot of families in the area decorate their homes for Halloween and make haunted houses and such. Anyway, it's a great location for Japanese kids to be able to experience that part of American culture. .. Thank you so much for Lako House! As soon as they arrived, I received a call with their excited voices saying the house was perfect. My son said most nights the kids just relaxed around the pool talking about movies and music, or what they had seen that day. The kids felt as though they had space to gather or to find quiet spots if they needed a break from the action, the teachers appreciated the safety,proximity to stores and activities, and they all enjoyed cooking together and watching the sunsets from the yard. We do go on expeditions every September and again in May, and will keep Lako House on the radar for a future trip. If anyone ever wants a recommendation, please don't hesitate to give out my email address, or if you want a few photos of the kids lounging around the house, I will send you some for your website. Aloha Bill, I just wanted to let you know how truly glorious our week at the Lako house was. We all agree it was the best week of vacation we've ever had which is largely due to the wonderful accomodations. What a superb vacation house!
