Our tropical villa has lovely ocean views from the lanai which captivate you as you have your morning breakfast or catch the sunset in the evening after a relaxing day at the beach or pool. Our villa is very spacious (1022 square feet inside, plus 2 covered fully tiled lanais with 374 square feet outside) and faces an expansive lush garden area lined with lovely palm trees stretching out to the ocean. This is considered one of the most desirable one bedroom villas at the Palms because of it's beautiful ocean views, 2 lanais, and close proximity to the pool and clubhouse.
Our villa was remodeled in August/September of 2008, and offers our guests a truly tropical haven. Furnishings are "Tommy Bahama" style. There is 20" poreclain tile throughout the villa, with ceiling fans in master bedroom and living room. There are also two separate air conditioners for those that want to stay even cooler in the master bedroom and living room. There is a 42" plasma television in living area, and a 36" television in the bedroom. DVD/VCR player and CD player with stereo in living area. Portable telephone with free calls to U.S. and Canada included. Wi Fi is included in our villa, as well as at the pool area. Also added is our special guest cabinet stocked with spices, foil wrap, plastic wrap, napkins, tea, coffee filters, condiments (small packets) and a cooler for the beach. There are also boogie boards and beach chairs for use at the beach. We have two outdoor lanai's. A lounging lanai with two new lounge chairs and a table, and a dining lanai with a new table for four that has counter height chairs to take in the breathtaking views of the ocean.
The whale shaped pool surrounded by palms has awesome views of the ocean and Kahoolawe Island giving the 150 unit, low rise, Mediterranean complex a quiet elegance. Yet, two minutes drive away are the Shops at Wailea, featuring Gucci, Coach, Longhi's Restaurant and Ruth's Chris Steak House.
Also, only two minutes away by car (5-6 min. walk), is Keawakapu Beach with one-half mile of soft white sand, two entrances and three free parking lots. This is a great swimming and snorkeling family beach complete with bars and restaurants at the end of the beach.
Wailea, a planned community, is the Beverly Hills of the Islands with $10,000,000 homes and hotels with $600/night starter rooms. It has the best climate in Maui with annual rainfall of 10 inches, compared to Kaanapali's 29 inches. The average high temperatures range from 80 degrees to 89 degrees.
Golfing in the Wailea area is spectacular. Wailea boasts 3 golf courses, one of which has hosted the Wendy's Senior Skins game. Nearby Makena has 2 beautiful ocean courses. Makena is also the home of Big Beach. It is famous for its body surfing and boogie boarding. Pack a picnic lunch, a beach umbrella and make an afternoon of it at Big Beach!
Check with the activity desk in the lobby, and book any of the many activities offered on the island. The activity desk offers golf discounts in Wailea.
Opulance abounds as you drive south on Wailea Alanui along hotel row. Treat yourself to an afternoon at the spa at the Grand Wailea, dinner at Nick's Fishmarket restaurant at the Fairmont Hotel, or Wolfgang Puck Spago's restaurant at the Four Seasons. These are a few of our favorite indulgences.

The Unique Benefits at this Villa
Mornings and evenings on the lanai are the perfect way to start and end the day. We love sitting on the lanai in the morning enjoying a cup of coffee and gazing at the calm ocean, listening to the birds, and enjoying the aroma of the flowers in paradise. In the evening, we love to sit out with a drink and watch the sunset. It is spectacular. Later, we enjoy an evening of barbecuing on the lanai, and having a peaceful dinner with island music in the background - then a dip in the pool or spa.

Our family has been enjoying Maui for over 8 years and 2010 was definatley our best year yet! The photos of the unit didn't give it all the credits deserved...........it was wonderful! The unit was clean, well stocked with everything needed, the owners were helpful at the drop of an email durning our vacation and the location was as central as one would ever want. We would recommend the property to friends, families and strangers........... just be sure to treat it like your own home as we will be back next year! ;)

Perfectly Pleasing Pretty Piece of Paradise is what I would call this condo by the Pool at The Palms with Parking. Everything was just as the listing and pictures showed. The condo is well equipped, well maintained and impeccably clean! The grounds are beautifully manicured with all the tropical flowers you'd expect to see. My husband and I enjoyed our stay very much! We just returned from a family vacation in Maui and highly recommend the beautiful condo where we stayed. From when we booked, leading all the way to the trip, the owner was incredibly helpful in providing information about the area, the property and any other questions we had. I would definitely recommend this property to family and friends and hope to go back with my family again someday soon. We enjoyed beautiful sunsets over the water (from the balcony) and the great location so we could walk to the beach everyday. We have a small child (10 months old), and the layout of the place was perfect for him too. He would nap in the large master bathroom area, while we relaxed and read on the patios overlooking the water. A wonderfully relaxing vacation, made perfect by this condo and its amenities.

This is a great place. The pictures accurately depict the condo, which was perfect for us. The ocean view was really nice, and the A/C worked great. Norval was very helpful and provided great information before our trip. He even sent us an email while we were there to see if we needed anything. I would recommend this condo to anyone. We have stayed at a few other condos on Maui and other islands, and this condo, by far, was the best we have ever stayed at in Hawaii. The restaurants in Waliea are a little pricey, but all have really great food so it was worth it for us. But, there are good resturants in Kihei (just a few minutes drive away) that are also really good but a little more family friendly and lighter on the wallet. It all depends upon your budget and what you are looking for, but this condo is situated in a great area near all the nice beaches, golf courses and restaurants that will fit any budget.

From the moment we drove up to the parking lot at the Palms, my wife and I both knew we were instore for an incredible vacation. Norval's condo is a slice of heaven located in the midst of paradise. He was both hopeful and hospitable throughout our entire stay. The accomadations are better than any 5 star hotel could offer on any island. The condo is both roomy, and perfectly decorated. You instantly feel like you are home away from home. The views from the lanai are breathtakingly gorgeous, and provided such a relaxing space for both my wife and I to enjoy each other company or induldge in a beautiful bbq'd meal we created on the gas bbq loacted on the lanai. The grounds and pool are very well kept and the beach is within walking distance. We have stayed at many condos at The Palms, and this was by far our favorite. We hope to return again one day. Norval and Lynn have created a lovely home away from home. Every comfort of home; comfortable bed, everything clean and tidy with a well-appointed kitchen. We loved our breakfast and dinner on the lanai and the other lanai was perfect for morning yoga. The staff is helpful and pool nearby. Loved the beach closest to the codo too. Can't wait to return.

We had nine wonderful days in Wailea seeing the sights, lounging on the beach and enjoying the whales in early March. The best thing was ending the day back at The Palms at Wailea. This condo is beautifully appointed with ample room for a one bedroom villa. We thoroughly enjoyed the jacuzzi and our daughter loved the whale shaped swimming pool, so did we. The lanai is roomy with a nice gas bbq, tiled floor, bar style table and chairs, and the pass-through to the kitchen was very convenient. This was all wonderful, but wait until you see the sunset from this lanai, incredible! It felt like the sun was looking back at us has it settled in to the Pacific for the night. Our family will remember this vacation forever. We are already looking forward to our next stay in this condo at The Palms at Wailea!
