This is a modern, well furnished, and well equipped condo with a beautiful view across the bay to the South, towards the neighboring island of Tierra Verde and Pass-A-Grille.
As you enjoy a meal on the patio dolphins can frequently be seen swimming a couple of hundred yards off shore, and sometimes even closer!

The condo boasts new air-conditioning, water heater, quality kitchen appliances, and furniture. Linens and towels are replaced regularly. The condo enjoys luxurious fully tiled upgrades to bathrooms. The master bedroom has a "wet room" style shower ensuite of Italian tile and granite, the second bathroom is tile and marble with a garden tub and shower above. For your added comfort and convenience the living room, kitchen and patio were recently updated with quality floor tiles, and new quality carpet laid to both bedrooms April 2011 . Each of the two bedrooms has a queen bed, and a new pull out sofa which has a quality double matress is located in the living room.
This ground level villa type condominium is located on the beautiful tropical island of Isla Del Sol (Island of the Sun); it boasts an 18-hole golf course which meanders through the island. The condominium has breathtaking uninterrupted views of the salt-water Boca Ciega Bay on the Gulf of Mexico, which surround the island. The water's edge is a mere 100 feet from the patio!
The Island (linked by bridges) is ideally located only 25 minutes from Tampa Airport to the east, less than one mile from St. Pete Beach; Sarasota lies 30 minutes to the south. Disney World is within an easy 90 minutes drive north-east on interstates.
The complex has its own exercise room, a large pool on the picturesque waters edge, heated Jacuzzi and a fishing pier. There are multiple guest parking spaces in addition to one exclusive covered space.
Conveniently located close to Fort DeSoto Park-North Beach voted Number One "Top 10 Best Beaches" in the USA in 2005, and only a few miles from Caladisi Island, voted Number One beach in 2008!
This tropical condominium complex is one of the most sought after for vacation rentals in the "Isla Del Sol" community, and it's easy to see why! You might find lower rates on Isla, but not with a view like this one, or which has had $40,000 lavished on it since purchase.

Why the Owner Chose Isla del Sol
We visited St Pete for the first time in 2003 from our home in England. We simply fell in love with the area and purchased our first condo, which had a golf course view. We learned our current condo with such a terrific bay view was for sale and so we "traded up". We have no regrets! In addition to the view we have great neighbors, superb weather and lots to enjoy throughout the region.

Perhaps the most enjoyable aspect of the condo's location is the tranquility. The uninterrupted view of the bay and the peaceful nature of the location create an atmosphere of relaxation, a haven away from life's pressures.
With the beautiful white sand of Fort Desoto Beach only minutes away one can enjoy a relaxing stroll at any time of the day. But perhaps the most beautiful time to visit is at sunset. The sunsets are amongst the most awesome one can experience.

Yet again we had a really nice time at Isla del Sol and loved being back in the condo. It was just as we remembered it from last year. The condo is lovely and the views from the condo and by the pool are amazing. We saw dolphins many times when we looked over to the bay. The condo was very clean and well maintained as always. You cannot go wrong if you stay here. It is very close to everything you need with a choice of shops, restaurants and a variety of beaches. Fort De Soto is our favourite beach. We look forward to booking up again with you soon!!

We chose this condo, for our vacation, because it was a ground floor unit with underground parking and for the beautiful views from the patio. We took advantage of the exercise/recreation room, which was well equipped, and the lovely pool area overlooking the bay.The condo is beautifully decorated, as the photos accurately reflect, and is clean and well maintained. The grounds at Isla Del Sol are immaculate and walking around the area is a pleasure. (It's only a 20 minute walk to Gulf Blvd.) David and Janet were a pleasure to deal with and provided us with a wealth of information. Our family would recommend Genero's Italtian Restaurant in Passe-Grille, Steam Restaurant and Coffee Shop on Gulf Blvd. and Spinners in the Grand Plaza (fantastic view). Isla is a great area for a quiet, relaxing vacation.

I highly recommend this condo! It is exactly as described... very clean, well equiped, great linens, baths, and comfortable beds. It is a short drive to beaches (or nice walk), Publix grocery and many restaurants. We have rented many condos on the Gulf coast from Clearwater to Ft. Myers beach and this was definitely one of my favorites. It especially was wonderful in January as the lanai had sun from morning til sunset. Dolphin sightings were abundant as well as many egrets. The bay was very tranquil and provided wonderful sunset views. We also appreciated the privacy on the bay that we have never experienced on the beach. Keyless entry was so convenient as well as a covered garage...very close to the unit. Pool area is lovely as well and walking in the Isle Del Sol area is spectacular. The palms look so regal and line the streets throughout the area. Definitely a perfect spot for relaxing and enjoying all that Florida has to offer! I might also add that the owners are so helpful in guiding you through the area if you are not familiar and very concerned for your comfort. You will not be disappointed!

We stayed for 2 weeks in late October 2010 and had a great holiday. The apartment was immaculate and fully equiped. It has a wonderful view of the water, a slow 30 second walk away and is less than a minutes walk from the beautiful pool . The whole area is stunning with the grounds and gardens maintained to a very high standard. I would recommend it to anyone wanting a peaceful relaxing holiday whilst being only a 10 to 15 minute car ride from a host of restaurants and entertainment. We had a great time. David Hilton was a pleasure to deal with and provided a wealth of helpful information.

We had a lovely time at Isla del sol and thought the condo was really nice. It was everything we hoped it would be. The decor in the condo was modern and it was very clean and well maintained. The pictures do not lie! The view of the bay from the patio is beautiful. The condo is very close in proximity to many nice restaurants and shops. It is also close to some lovely beaches such as Fort De Soto and Pass a Grille which both come highly recommended. We have already booked our next trip here and can't wait!!

We spent a terrific month at this Isla del Sol condo- it was all that was promised . The owners were helpful; the accomodation was immaculate and well furnished. Even the dolphins showed up regularly! Ideal for physically disabled because it is on the ground floor with close parking. It also has a walk in shower. A beautiful area to walk and bike and a pool close by. Although there were some children, in my view it is a community more suited to couples and retirees. However it is a close commute to the St Pete's Beach strip if you are looking for a more lively holiday. We loved the peace and quiet and sunsets and birds.

We had a great time and truly loved this condo. There is a beautiful view of the bay and we saw dolphins almost everyday. The condo was very clean, well maintained and beautifully appointed. The pictures are a true reflection of the condo's appearance and amenities. Janet and David are wonderful hosts and most accomodating. The condo is close to lots of shopping, restaurants and entertainment venues. Proximity to Fort De Soto beach is a plus; beautiful white sands and great fishing at the pier! We would highly recommend it.
