My five friends and I stayed here and it was perfect. Yes, the water pressure and temperature was bad but I did experienced that almost everywhere on the island. The balcony was a big plus and we BBQ on the gas grill. The apt was nice and clean. The grocery store and pizzeria were a couple of blocks away. We were given our own parking spot right in front. Myself and 5 of my friends stayed here. It was perfect for us! The place is very spacious... 2 bedrooms, 3 futons, and a roll away cot. It was walking distance to the beach and Diane's Pizza (great pizza and breakfast and Carlos speaks perfect English)! The grocery store is also next to Diane's. We walked to the Double Tree hotel whenever we needed a taxi. It was all very convenient! Jerome was very helpful and made sure to send over English speaking employees for us when we got the key. They were very very nice. Upstairs patio was amazing with the hammock and grill! I would definitely recommend to all my friends! So much bigger and nicer and CHEAPER than a hotel room! Me and my five friends visited San Juan last week and decided to stay in this apartment. We had a fabulous time and loved the apartment! It is very cute and is exactly as it was described. There was more than enough room for all of us. The price is a great deal for the nice apartment! I highly recommend it. Having hot water stay for a long time was sometimes difficult, but that is to be expected when you have six people showering. We had a minor problem with mosquitos when we went on the roof deck, but once we began using bug spray, the problem disappeared.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with teenagers, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

The Apartment was great. Had lots of room and the upper deck was a Hit for having friend's and family for a BBQ and conversation. Supermarket around the corner and the Beach just nearby.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, sightseeing.

I rented this apartment with several friends for an incredible week in San Juan. Not only are the accomodations inside the apartment much better than they appear to be online (i.e. new, big, comfy couches, a gorgeous kitchen, roomy bedrooms, and an amazing loft/deck with a table and a gas grill!), but the service provided by Elena properties was superb. They were excellent communicating with me and answering any questions before the trip and when we arrived at 11PM, they were more than willing to meet us at the door of the apartment with the keys. The apartment has more than enough sleeping space and provided plenty of clean sheets, towels, etc. The apartment's location is also excellent. The residential neighborhood gives the apartment a much more private, less touristy feel that a hotel. Also, we had no problem walking the few blocks to and from the amazing beach, as well as to the grocery store and several local eateries in the Condado area. The cab ride into Old San Juan is short and cheap. While there was room to park by the apartment, we got by just fine without a car. I would recommend this apartment to just about anyone vacationing in San Juan! I rented this while I was in San Juan for two weeks of work. It's quite a good location for commuting down to businesses in Guaynabo or Hato Rey. The neighborhood is a nice residential area, right next door to the San Juan's "Alliance Francaise", a French-cultural club somehow sponsored by the French Government. There is a grocery store just a couple of blocks away, but I always sent to a Pueblo nearer my work-site. The apartment is maintained quite well. One faucet was working badly, so I reported it to the owner, and it was replaced the next day. (I suspect this is why some other reviews complain of poor water pressure. In fact, the water pressure is fine.) There were a few other minor maintenance items I mentioned to the owner after I left. The apartment has wireless Internet access that works fine. The covered porch on the roof is nice; there's a gas grill and a dining table outside. This was nice. Parking is usually pretty good; you can either park just outside the building, or just around the corner. But it was never more than a one-minute walk.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with teenagers, families with young children, romantic getaway.

It was a great place to stay. It looks exactly like the pictures. Lots of sleeping space. Kitchen was very useful. It was clean. Very nice patio. Not too far from Old San Juan and the strip. Only thing is the water pressure wasn't that great. I would definitely recommanded staying here. I would stay here again if I ever come back to Puerto Rico. Also a car is a good idea...Recommended for: Adventure seekers

Pros: The property was close to city amenities and the living room/kitchen area was large. Price was also very reasonable. Cons: Not clean (cobwebs on fixtures), beds uncomfortable, loud airconditioners. No water pressure in bathrooms. I'd recommend this property to young travellers on a tight budget. Car rental is a must.Recommended for: Adventure seekers
Owner response: We lament that this guest had a less than optimal vacation experience. We will look into these complaints and take remedial action deemed necessary.

This place is awesome! just a walk from the beach and a cab ride from the bars.. cabs have a hard time finding it becaue the highway intersect the road and it is on the dead end side. tell the cabie you are at the frence alliaence (its right next door) on Rosario. The apt had tons of sleeping space. Roof top patio was amazing fully loaded with a gas grill for BBQing. This is an amazing vacation spot, met tons of nice people, would love to visit again soon. would deffinatly consider staying at the same place!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with teenagers, girls getaway, tourists without a car, romantic getaway.

The apartment was great. The loft was really great. I enjoyed my coffee there in the morning and in the evening I enjoyed reading a book while my family enjoyed the football games in the apartment. I could also go to sleep in the last bedroom and not hear the noise of the TV and family. The kitchen was great also. We enjoyed many dinners in the apartment. Location was really nice, as we have family nearby in Santurce, ocean was about half a mile away and Old San Juan was about 12 miles away. Laundermat was within one block which was really convenient.Recommended for: Families with teenagers
