Welcome to our newest luxury ski vacation home, it has never been on the vacation rental market. This Salt Lake ski property was purchased by two old ski cronies who grew up learning how to ski together on the east coast. Fast forward decades later after high school, college, a few careers, marriage and family they talked about their dreams. One of which was to become a rock star and have a bunch of gorgeous babes following them as groupies, the other was to share a fabulous ski pad close to their favorite ski resorts. As you can imagine, the rock star dream didn't pan out, however, the opportunity for a ski house finally came up in 2007.
What happened? They went for plan B, settled for singing Pink Floyd tunes in the car and getting a stylin ski house that is perfect for an all guys ski trip, but will also happily accommodate the family. The house is completely and newly furnished, it is very spacious at 2700 square feet. The decor can be described as cabinesque, wood beams, spiral stair case, stone work, warm wood tones, high vaulted ceilings with lots of natural light, and has a hip and fun ambiance to it, an ideal place to call ski headquarters.
We wanted this home to reflect our ideas of vacationing in Salt Lake, we hope you enjoy it as much as we do.

It has a country style day bed with a twin trundle bed that pulls out. You also have a designer microfiber sofa and chaise that has a queen sofa bed. You can comfortably accommodate four people in the basement.
The basement is also designed to entertain, featuring a wet bar with 5 leather & chrome bar stools, perfect for having after dinner drinks, apres ski drinks, or just plain entertaining. There is a simple game table where the guys or the kids can play poker, card games, or puzzles. We also put a television with a DVD and VHS player, so bring your favorite movies. It's a great seperate room for the kids when the adults are occupying the 50 inch big screen upstairs, or vice versa.
5. Other great characteristics include a brand new 50 inch HDTV, seperate laundry area with washer and dryer, 2 car private garage, a portacrib, a jetted bath tub in the master bath, and a beautiful stone gas fireplace. Also don't forget you are close to the ski shuttle bus in case you don't want to drive!!!

It is located at the Oaks at Wasatch development located in Cottonwood Heights. This development of beautiful townhome are uniquely located off Wasatch Boulevard at the base and in between Little and Big Cottonwood Canyon. This means you have quick access to all 4 of the best skiing in Utah: Alta, Snowbird, Solitude, and Brighton. It's about 8 miles away from the resorts, or a 20 min drive. You are also about 30 mins away from the international airport. So you can literally be skiing in under 1 hour from the time that you land!
The house is fully furnished with all BRAND new furniture, linens, supplies, cooking equipment, basically everything you will need will be available, all you need to do is bring your clothes and gear.

The house rocks. It's gorgeous on the inside. The moment you walk through the door you get the sense that you are in an elegant and comfortable ski cabin. Beautiful wood and rock interior. The location rocks. These guys are hard core skiers and only ski Alta. Alta is only 8 miles away. It's really heaven for them.

We really enjoyed our stay. Had awesome sunshine the first two days we skied and more than enough new powder the last two days. Hey Au-Co - Yes, we had a blast! The skiing was fabulous, the location of the house great, and most importantly, everyone got along! We discovered Squatter's in the city our last night. We tried, but we couldn't find anything wrong with that place, and they never ran out of beer, so we had THAT going for us. Overall we skied Alta once, The Canyons once and Snowbird three times. Had to take a day off to catch our breath. Glad to hear everything was in order and the check is on its way. We looked things over thoroughly and, other than the couple things we talked about, we left it in tip top condition. Thanks a lot for everything you did and we hope to get out there again next year.
