"Starfish" began life as the Town Coal Station where townspeople fetched their coal and had their load weighed. In 2005 it was expanded and completely rebuilt. Located on Front Street in the Borough it has beautiful harbor views from the entire second floor (main living and master bedroom are on second floor). There is a lovely deck with lounge chairs and gas grill on the second floor overlooking the parade of boats. The town fishing fleet is also viewed from this home.
The 1400 square foot home has the first floor with a single car garage, covered front porch and guest bedroom with four built-in single beds. This bedroom is large enough to add a queen bed as well. Laundry with new washer/dryer, full bathroom with tub/shower and granite counter top complete the first floor. The painted wood stairs leading to the second floor are embellished with hand-painted whimsical starfish.
The second floor has a new kitchen with granite counter tops and all new appliances. The layout is open with great room/eating area off the full sized kitchen. There are water views from all the rooms. The upstairs deck can be assessed from the great room and master bedroom. Lovely wood floors. The carpeted master bedroom features a queen bed facing the harbor with sliding doors to the deck. The granite master bathroom has a built in granite tiled shower and matching floors with a granite vanity top and Kohler fixtures.
The location is in a quiet area of the Borough but within steps to all the Borough has to offer - the library, playground, restaurants, marinas and farmers market each Saturday morning in the summer.
