I stayed with my friend during our trip to Paris in January 2012. The apartment is perfect (location, ambience etc.). More importantly, what makes our trip worthwhile is Naomi as the most reliable host who immediately made us feel at home. We would highly recommend this apartment :)

This is a perfectly located studio. My husband and I stayed for 10 days and we were so close to everything that we only used our Navigo pass for 3 or 4 days. The apartment is darling and is just as seen on the website. Amazingly, it is a lovely quiet and peaceful place that is literally 10-15 steps away from a bustling street. Do try the Quincampe restaurant on the same street across from the apartment. We didn't have a bad meal there - and we had three. Naomi was so nice to work with and very helpful. She even arranged for our ride out to the airport. Definitely a place to stay again.

We spent a delightful week in Paris in August and this studio apartment was ideally located, right in the centre of all the action!! Notre-Dame, Paris' city hall, River Seine etc. are a few minutes away. The studio was very clean, cozy and nicely arranged. We spent many delightful moments on the patio. The building was very quiet and well maintained. Naomi was very helpful and that was appreciated. The pictures accurately reflect the studio. We have no hesitation in recommending it to you. The apartment was terrific. Everything was as the owner, Naomi, describes: quiet, wonderfully located, comfortable, well supplied, clean, etc. We were constantly amazed at how quiet the apartment was, but as soon as you step outside the building, you're in the middle of a bustling, vibrant neighborhood. Just about everything you might want is within a short walk from the apartment: restaurants, clubs, markets, shops, banks, Velib station (just outside the apartment!), parks. Louvre, Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame, Arc de Triomphe, Champs Elysees all within walking distance (15 to 40 mins). Would definitely stay here again, and recommend it without reservation to friends and relatives.

Wonderful! - a very quiet, secure, comfortable and private apartment in the heart of the Marias. I was warmly welcomed by the apartment owners and felt completely at home in this well furnished and well equipped space. There was ample room for a couple and a generous amount for a solo traveller. A stones throw to the Met, Centre Pompidou and a range of historical attractions. I had stayed at another Parisienne apartment before this one, and wished I'd been in this apartment the entire time. Thanks for the care and attention that contributed to a wonderful exploration of Parisienne delights! I'll be back! P.S. wander the streets of the Marais and you'll enjoy delightful and surprising discoveries. Visit Eglise St Eustache where you'll see contrasts: acrobats scaling the ceilings or a full mass on Sundays. Markets on Saturday morning.

This wonderful apartment was my home away from home for close to three months this past summer! I'm a native New Yorker who visits Paris regularly, and this was both my longest stay in Paris and my first experience with VRBO. I love this apartment. It's comfortable, cozy, well-equipped, and conveniently located in the heart of the city, while remaining well-insulated from the bustling neighborhood outside. It's on a great, old Parisian street, is an easy walk to all the major tourist spots and near numerous metro and RER lines. The apartment retains all the charm of a lovely, old-world interior space, while tastefully and efficiently accommodating all the major conveniences of a fully-functional modern apartment -- everything I needed to really feel at home, with amenities you don't find in a lot of Paris apartments (washer AND dryer, full-sized refrigerator, bathtub). Plus having the patio during the summer was such a joy! I was extremely impressed with how cool it stayed inside during the weeks of the heat wave! And it was always cozy and warm when the weather was less agreeable, as well. Elevator is a plus, though other than the days I was moving my stuff in and out, I was happy to take the short flight of stairs. Naomi is kind, responsive, reliable and a joy to deal with at every turn. I could not have asked for a better experience.

We have just returned from spending more than 3 enjoyable weeks in this cozy, well equipped apartment. It was clean, well maintained and precisely as presented on the website providing everything we needed. The excellent location was an ideal base for us to experience the real Paris. We were spoilt by the nearby restaurants, cafes, local bakeries and delis. Naomi was prompt and helpful in all correspondence, the booking process was smooth and efficient. We were met on arrival at the apartment which made settling in easy. We have fond memories of "our" little apartment in Paris and were sad to leave. "

From a letter written to Naomi shortly after our return (May 2009).... I just wanted to say THANK YOU! for going above and beyond for our recent weeklong stay in Paris in May 2009. We were both so very appreciative of your letting us come in early on the day of our arrival and allowing us to use the apartment until we took off for the airport - these made such a huge difference in our comfort level. Especially being able to take a nap soon after our arrival - made all the difference in our transition. The weather could've been a little more cooperative, but we still managed to do and see a lot. As this was our 4th stay, it really was a chance to "fill in the blanks" and get to know the city a little more intimately. We both felt as if we got a better sense of the city during this visit. You have done an amazing job on the apartment - it is truly a comfortable and quiet place. Given the street life going on day and night, this was nothing short of remarkable. Michael said it was a little like living on Bleecker Street. I was also amazed at how many nooks and crannies you have in the apartment -- I couldn't believe it when Michael told me where you kept the lightbulbs, though. I thought I found all the possible hideaways, but I did miss that bottom drawer! I really do admire the work you did in that apartment - it's got a lot of warmth and style. You really did maximize the space as well. After searching through so many apartment listings, I feel as if we were very fortunate to have chosen your place. If and when we come back for another extended stay, I would definitely stay in one of your apartments again. The apartment on Quincampoix is wonderfully done, and a very comfortable place to stay. The only thing we really missed a lot was a window onto the street, but given its busy & central location, it was remarkable how quiet the apartment was.

I have stayed here many times and will continue to come back! The apartment is wonderful in every way. Washer and dryer are a real luxury at this price. Do not hesitate to book with this owner!

We can't say enough about this wonderful apartment -- clean, comfortable, secure and the location can't be beat. A special feature is the delightful private patio, which is ideal for morning coffee or pre-dinner drinks. All in all a real gem and highly recommended.

We stayed in this apartment in April, 2009. The location was perfect and it is actually a little nicer than the pictures indicate. The only problem was construction on the ground floor next door. We thought it was a great price, a very nice place and we would definitely stay there again.

We really enjoyed the apartment. The location was wonderful. It was clean and had everything you could ask for. It was close to the metro, which made it really easy to take the RER from/to the airport. The owner was so helpful with all of our questions/concerns. We are really happy that we stayed here. This apartment was perfect for our recent trip and we cannot wait to return! It is in the heart of the Marais, just blocks from the Pompidou Center and Chatalet Les Halles metro stop. It has everything you could ever need and makes excellent use of the space - it feels much larger than it actually is. The owner was extremely helpful and accommodating and we will be renting from her again!

My wife and I stayed in this studio last week (Nov. 2008). It was our first time renting an apt in Paris, and our first time with VRBO anywhere. The studio is terrific. It is laid out in a way that makes it roomy and comfortable for two. All appliances are new and modern. Internet, phone and TV all great. It is on the first floor (i.e. one floor above street level) but has its own private small patio. This is on the central core well, so has no view of anything, but is still a big plus to get some fresh air. In warm weather it would be wonderful for meals. The studio is just a couple of blocks from Pompidou Centre, just off Rue Rambuteau. It's a very lively area, but even though the studio is just a few steps off Rambuteau on a side street, all is calm and quiet. The building is very secure. The location is perfect for anybody wanting to explore Marais, Ile de la Cite, Ile St. Louis, etc. It's any easy walk to left bank, Palais Royale, Louvre, etc. Just a few blocks away, rue Montorgeuil is a foodie's paradise. If you want to cook, you'll be on that street daily. The owner (American) is in Paris and easily accessible and very much interested in seeing that all is well. We would stay there again in a heartbeat. In fact, the morning of the day before we left I was sitting on the terrace and told my wife, "I already miss this place and we're still here!" It was a wonderful experience, so much better than a hotel, and we almost felt as if we were living in Paris, if only for a week.

My husband and I stayed in this apartment for 3 weeks in July 2008 and were continually remarking how fortunate we were to have found it. Not only is it very attractive, it is furnished most thoughtfully with every possible thing one might need, such as sewing kits, Scotch tape, tablets, pens, guide books, food staples, CDs, magazines, etc. It was a delight to work with the owner, who is extremely knowledgeable and never failed to answer a question we had about the city. We look forward to a return visit if we can find openings after we have enticed many friends to book this place!
