This a great house on the Famous Faria Beach which is located 7 miles north of Ventura and 25 miles south of Santa Barbara.
The home is wonderfully decorated and comes with all the amenities to make your stay comfortable and fun. From your king size bed in the master bedroom on the second floor, you will hear the sound of the endless waves. As you wake with the sun coming up over the mountains, you can see dolphins swimming by and even an occasional grey whale.
This house is built for entertaining family and friends. Outside the spacious living room, you will find a large deck, a portion of which is covered and wind protected, with a large gas BBQ and two tables and chairs.
With just steps to the sand, you will be able to explore one of California's most unique and beautiful beaches. Faria Beach can best be described as dynamic because of constantly changing sand levels, which at certain times of the year, exposes the rocks underneath and creates a wonderland of tide pools and marine life to be explored amongst the rocks.
Most of the time there is ample sand to take long walks on the beach or build sand castles. Swimming, boogie boarding, snorkeling, and kayaking can all be enjoyed at Faria Beach. If you are a surfer, the world class surf break called "Pitas Point" is right in front of you.

We are just finishing a fantastic spring break at the Faria Beach House. It has proven to be a perfect spot for our family. The house is clean and comfortable and is stocked with everything we needed. We enjoyed surfing, boogie boarding and some nice walks. We saw dolphins, sea lions, sea stars, an octopus, even 2 whales. We can't wait to come back.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

This was the perfect 30 minute getaway from our home in Santa Barbara. Surf, beach runs and grilling each night, not a bad way to live for a week.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with young children.

Had a great stay for our wedding weekend. Fresh paint and new furniture enhanced our comfort during a nice long weekend. Enough space to enjoy as a couple and to have a few friends to celebrate. Nice walks on the beach, sealife, and plenty of photo opps. Nice BBQ and plenty of deck and patio spaces to relax and entertain. Justin was a great contact and was available for questions and when the wireless went down. Our friends/family really enjoyed the environment and we even got fun waves up the point. I would definately recommend this property for a short or extended stay. We enjoyed our stay immensely. The house was large enough to accommodate our family members with little ones and we weren't on top of each other. Beautiful sunrises, glorious sunsets, dolphins, whales, lots of starfish, tide pool exploring, boogie boarding, and just family time were our highlights. Thank you for making our family time together even more special. The owner was a joy to work with. This house is great for the family. The owner is profesional and helpful. The house has a wonderful patio with views of the beach and ocean. It was clean and furnished nicely. The upstairs bedrooms are nice however it should be noted that the downstairs bedroom is a converted garage which while nice can be cold. Heaters are supplied.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children.

After our second year straight of great views and great swimming on the best side Faria Beach we will be coming back for more. The house itself is built for relaxing and has everything you need. Our Chocolate Labador feels right at home as well.The owner has always been accomidating. We had such a wonderful time at the beach house. It comfortably slept 5 of us & the house was clean & very comfortable & homey with everything we needed to cook & barbecue & hang out at the beach. Justin was great, really helpful & kind. We had a wonderful time it was so relaxing and the house had everything we could have asked for-fully stocked kitchen and plenty of linens and towels.BBQ tank was full and there were boogey boards for those who wanted.. It was a bonus having a second bedroom upstairs with two full beds and also having 2 sliders out to the balcony. The house was very clean when we arrived and we had absolutely no problems throughout our stay. Justin was great to work with right from day one when we showed interest in the property. We would recommend this property to friends and we will return. Our group ranged from 9yrs to 50yrs and we all had a great time including our Golden... Although we were there in mid Aug the majority of mornings were overcast and chilly but cleared everyday to warm sunshine and beautiful evenings it just gave us a chance to walk the dog and run some errands in the mornings without the heat. We are from Los Angeles so we did not venture too far from the house because we have been to all the surrounding areas it was a plus that the grocery store was close by.We chose this house because of the location - beachfront and pet friendly. It was a perfect vacation.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, tourists without a car, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

A great place to stay. We celebrated a friend's milestone birthday followed by a marvelous Mother's Day on Sunday. Two of us from Oregon, two from Alaska, two from Antelope Valley and Texas. Lots of memories to enjoy. The house is perfectly situated for fun in the sun with great beach access. All the amenities we needed were available plus a grocery store very close by. The owner was wonderful to work with. We would definitely rent here again.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, people with disabilities, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

This place was beautiful, both the days that were sunny as well rainy! Watching the tides go in and out was something I wasn't expecting, but was completely delighted with :-) The place is pet-friendly and that was huge for us - being able to have our pet children with us made this a complete vacation for us. The photos were very accurate, the property clean, and the process of making our reservations was easy. Ventura is just a short 10-15 minute drive south, Carpinteria/Santa Barbara not much further north. I would wholeheartedly recommend this property to friends and relatives.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.
