Why the Owner Chose North Bend

We designed and built our property it with views, relaxation and comfort in mind. To make it a gathering place for family and friends for vacations, and the Holidays. Ample space for everyone for cooking, eating, sleeping and playing games or just putting together a puzzle.

The Unique Benefits at this House

We love being able to ride our quads and side by sides right out of the driveway to the dunes. You can't make it any easier than that. Then if you want to go kayaking that is right out the back. 3 World class golfing ranges aren't even 30 minutes away.
The local Coastal Towns all have very unique sites to offer!
You just can't get any better than this!

Owner's Map of North Bend

We throughly enjoy the Oregon Coast, riding Quads, walking on beaches, hiking in the forests and sampling the Coastal Cusine!

One word..Amazing!! one of the most enjoyable vacations we have ever taken!! you can't describe how it is to ride out of the garage to the dunes in a minute. truly a 10 out of 10. will be back for many years to come.

Owner response:We truly love sharing our home away from home with others. It is a place to relax, just enjoy and take a load off. Then whenever you feel like it...go into ride the dunes or to the ocean to look for shells, or walk the beach...not far far is Bandon Dunes Golf Resort, or hiking to the local waterfalls. Come and see what your missing. There is something for everyone here. You'll have to see it to believe it.

What a great place! Beautifully furnished, only a short distance to the dune access, very comfortable beds, short, short walk down to Maud Lake's edge to fish or Kyayk or... . Beautiful setting & friendly people. We had a wonderful time from eating our wonderful chocolate cookies to playing in the huge dune area on our sand toys. We have wonderful memories and plan to make this place a yearly family tradition for years to come Lord willing. Thank you for providing this peaceful refuge for our family to gather and relax. God bless you and your family.

Wow, this place was great. We spent a long weekend there. We were able to check-in early on Friday. The house was clean and well organized. The kitchen was is fully loaded with everything we ever needed. The large flat screen TV came in handy when we were done playing for the day, we all fit in the living room and relaxed. The view of the Lake was beautiful, we took the two kayaks out for a run around the lake, and it is bigger than you think. The Dune access was right down the road, this is good for those with paddle tires on. There is also truck access a little farther down the road. All the neighbors were nice and waved as we rode by. The beach access road is short unlike the one down by Horse falls. This place was perfect, I wouldn’t stay anywhere else.

We had an amazing trip. The house is very homey and has everything you could ever need. I packed way too much extra stuff. The beds are amazing. We had one of the most relaxing fun filled vacations we have had in years. From the fire pit, to the lake, to the dunes. Can't be beat!!!

We just got back from staying at the Maud Lake Lodge and had a WONDERFUL time. The house is more gorgeous than the pictures show. It is fully stocked with EVERYTHING and was so great for the kids to run around and play. We really had a great time and can't wait to go back! Being so close to the dunes was amazing, we loved the backyard, and the dads and kids had a great time in the kayaks.

WOW, what a great house, the picture of house is great, but it doesn't do it justice. It is ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS inside and out. The furniture is comfy and plush as are the beds. It was great for our Mom of 88 years to get around, all one level and a walk in shower. The outside fire pit was a super BONUS and we used it EVERY night during our stay at Thanksgiving. The boys rode EVERY SINGLE DAY, 30 second drive to the dunes from the driveway, and shopping in every direction for us girls. One day of rain, and rest were beautiful. WE WILL BE BACK SOON. We just spent Labor Day at the Maud Lake Lodge. What a AWESOME place for a Grandma to hang with the Grandbabies, while the big boys with their toys had the dunes in their backyard. The pictures of house and lake on the website are great, but can not reflect the feeling of comfort, serenity and beauty in the surrounding of this home. The house was fully equipped, all you need to bring is your food and clothes. We did not get the opportunity to take the Kayaks out on the lake, but they were down there on the bank ready to go if we had so desired, but with this trip being the maiden voyage for the sand rail the dunes won out this trip. We will definately stay at this house as often as we can since it is a great half way meeting place to hang with our children and grandbabies from seattle. Thank you for creating such a warm feeling in all the decor that you chose to furnish this house with, it felt like home.

Visited there last summer (2006) - everything was brand new and done so tastefully. Gorgeous decor with huge hand-hewn dining table over-looking the lake. Kitchen is beautifully done, with tons of extras for entertaining - great open plan with lots of bar seating at the kitchen island counter. The house has its own private beach on the lake and is ATV accessible to the largest sand dunes I have ever seen! You can actually ride to the ocean! This place was wonderful!
