If you are looking for a quiet, family beach from which to explore the great amusements of Southern California (Disneyland 20 minutes), Universal Studios, Knott's Berry Farm (15 min), Catalina Island, and many others) then Seal Beach is a perfect location. Seal Beach is on the border of Los Angeles County and Orange County and has access to all major freeways and all major airports in the Los Angeles/Orange County area.
Seal Beach is a one mile beach that looks directly at Santa Catalina Island, 26 miles from the coast. We frequently enjoy watching dolphins play just beyond the surf line. There is also a protected bay nearby with boating rentals and daily fishing boats are accessible nearby.
There is an identical adjacent unit also for rent for those parties that exceed the maximum (6) occupant limit for one unit.
Within a short walk from Main St., our three bedroom ground floor level unit is situated directly on the beach and has a panoramic ocean view. The sliding glass door opens to a porch/patio area beachside. There is a fully equipped kitchen (microwave, dishwasher), living/dining area, and one bathroom. There are two twin-bedded bedrooms and one master bedroom with a king bed. Cable TV and VCR are installed in the living room area. Our unit sleeps six comfortably. Enclosed garage is included.
Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate pets.
Winter air temperatures vary between 50 and 80 degrees Fahrenheit (10 to 27 degrees Centigrade); Summer between 75 and 90 degrees F (24 to 32 degrees C). Water temperatures vary between 55 to 75 degrees F(13 to 24 C) year round.
