The island of Kea (Tzia) is a small and stunningly beautiful island only one hour ferryboat journey from the Greek mainland. The island is easily reached from Athens and the Athens International Airport. Kea is yet untouched by tourism and has many fabulous beaches and walking paths.
Red Tractor Farm guesthouse was chosen by the E.U. as an exemplary eco-tourism project for the Cycladic Islands and awarded with a subsidy grant. We are involved in a variety of projects which include: gourmet condiments and preserves, bee-keeping, proliferation of Mediterranean plant species, wine making, olive harvesting and much more.
Our guesthouses are beautifully designed, quiet, private, and tucked in an 8 acre plot on the edge of the main port of Kea. We recommend visitors rent a car (we can help with this) for part of their stay on Kea as there are so many beaches and hikes to explore.
Our guesthouses each have a kitchenette and guests have the opportunity to enjoy meals on their own terrace overlooking the olive grove and vineyard. The nearest beach is at the bottom of our driveway. The housekeeper changes sheets and towels every 3 days and is available more often upon request.
