This 1400 square foot 3 bedroom, 3 bath townhome located in the King's Crossing Townhome Complex is a very convenient rental in the downtown area of Winter Park. A short 5 minute walk will get you to the main shopping, restaurants and outdoor activities in the Winter Park area. During the ski season, the free shuttle bus will pass by every 30 minutes.
As you enter the unit on the lowest level, you will come across the master bedroom (king bed and TV) and bathroom. The private hot tub can be accessed through this room or through the hallway. A second bedroom (queen bed) is located down the hall. A hallway bathroom services this room. You will also find the washer and dryer on this level.
The next level is the 'heart' of the unit. Here, you will enjoy a newly re-modeled kitchen completely equipped with everything you will need during your stay, an inviting sun room, dining area and of course the living area with entertainment system and gas fireplace. Also on this level is the third bedroom (queen) and third bathroom.
You will find this unit to be quite comfortable and clean. Wireless internet access is also provided.

About the owner: We (Schuyler and Phyllis Stuckey) now live in Frisco, TX. After taking early retirement, I (Schuyler) have gone back to work as a Middle School teacher. We spent 24 years living and working in the Middle East so our townhome is a mixture of mountain and Middle Eastern items.
Why the Owner Chose Kings Crossing:
After checking out several resorts includng Breckenridge, Taos, and Lake Tahoe; we decided upon Winter Park. It is convenient to Denver and you don't have to go through the Eisenhower Tunnel and the road that follows. Thanks to the size and layout of the ski area, it is rarely crowded. It is also great because skiers of different levels can ski in close proximity to each other and meet up at the bottom of the run. That way everyone gets what they want and you can still be together. The summers are also special. The mountain activities are excellent, the hiking is to 'die for' and the scenery is breathtaking.
The Unique Benefits at this Townhome:
From our unit at Kings Crossing Solar Townhomes, you are close (even walking) to the town of Winter Park and some great restaurtants. We are fortunate to be on 2 ski bus routes. This means we have 4 buses that come by every hour whereas most other places only have 2 buses an hour. This makes it simple to get to and from the ski mountain without driving there. We have some beautiful views from our enclosed sun room upstairs as well as from the living area. The enclosed hot tub is relaxing at the end of a great day of skiing or hiking.
