  Our stay at CMD was fantastic! EVERYTHING was in order, neat and clean. All things were supplied as the owner says. Perfect for a large family or group. We would recommend this to everyone and would definitely stay there again.

  Our stay at CMD was fantastic. EVERYTHING was in order, neat and spotless. It looks like a new house. Everything we needed was there. It is perfect for a large family or group.The location was very good and the road to the house was in excellent shape. We would reccommend this house to anyone and would stay there again!

  Wondeful Weekend at HIghview with our family. Gorgeous home! The view from the wrap around porch is breathtaking, Plenty of room for the little ones to play and the kitchen was well stocked for cooking. The house is in a great location and we hope to return real soon.

  Our stay was very delightful. The whole family loved the accomadations to include (and probably mostly) the grandkids. Place was as advertised. Very spacious yet very cozy. The view overlooking the valley is spetacular. We are looking forward to our next stay.

  Wondeful Weekend at HIghview with our family. Gorgeous home! The view from the wrap around porch is breathtaking, and the kitchen was well stocked for cooking. The laundry room was a huge plus. The house is in a great location and we hope to return real soon. Only minutes for skiing. We had a total of eight people in the house and had plenty of room, everyone had their on space.

  My family and I stayed for a long weekend at Highview and never wanted to leave the house. This home is beautifully decorated with the most awesome view we've ever had of Maggie Valley. In a nutshell - Highview is perfect! We hope to be able to stay here year after year.

  .We've just completed a week in this lovely place that has a most spectacular setting! The house is well equipped and comfortable for the number of folks specified. The location is unsurpassed in beauty, proximity to the Parkway and just enjoying the beauty of God's creation adds to its charm and appeal.. We watched the leaves change daily into their autumn hues. Our family enjoyed the Craft Fair, choosing apples at the produce stands, hiking and just being together in such a beautiful spot. We're planning next year's visit already!!

  This is a really beautiful home,very clean & very comfortable. The wrap around porch makes you want to sit and just watch the way the sun shades the mountains. Always changing,always beautiful.This house is everything you can ask for. Close to groceries,antiques,history,sightseeing.Less than 5 minutes to the Blue Ridge Parkway & close to Deals Gap.You have to make a stop at the Maggie Valley Restaurant,a great family owned place to eat. Minutes from Wheels of Time, an unbelievable tribute to our past, mostly motorcycles,but lots of old cars a plane and many antiques.Close to the valley where you stand feet from the elk, a memory you will hold forever.So much we did not get to do, we will definitely be returning here in the future and renting this home again!

  I stayed from Thursday to Sunday for my bachelorette party weekend. We all had such an amazing time! The house was absolutely beautiful, as was the view!!! The BEST view I've had while staying in the mountains! Even though there was tons of things to do around the house (shops. restaurants, bars), we stayed on the porch the entire time admiring the view. We definitely want to make this an annual trip! Thanks again for sharing your home!

  This home was everything it was advertised to be AND more. Beautiful, spacious, clean, relaxing, convenient, reasonably priced. We will definately return to this property & bring friends or family with us next time. Tons of things to do nearby. Plenty of places to eat out if you decide to do that.   My family along with my two brothers and their families came to stay at this house because we were having a family reunion in the area, and all wanted to stay together and be close to Maggie Valley for the reunoin events. The house worked out perfectly! Seeing as we had 3 families in one house, we each had our own floor, and the perfect amount of beds. The home was very clean, spacious, and adorable. The view of the mountains was beautiful and the front porch worked out great for us adults to socialize in the evenings and not have to worry about waking up all the little ones. The home owners were very hospitable providing me with options for activities and dining all around the area, and always speedy with responses to all my questions.   I wanted to write and let you know how much we enjoyed your beautiful home over the past few days. My husband and I both agreed this was the first time ever that we felt a little sad that our time was up and we had to head back home. We are usually anxious to get packed and started on our way back home, but there was something different about this trip. And the difference was the peace and comfort that your home provided. It is truly the most beautiful place we have ever stayed. We enjoyed the scenic beauty of the layered mountains and just rocking, watching and listening to the birds. Next time we may choose to come for a week and bring several friends with us! We absolutely loved eating at Hurley's which was only within one mile of the house. Their food is very good and the owner and wait staff were extremely friendly. This is a quality restaurant with great prices, especially if you order from their Hurley Bird menu between 4:00 and 6:00 PM. Also, Joey's Pancake House and Maggie Valley Family Restaurant's food was great! We had zero complaints about anything we did while visiting these places.

  My children and grandchildren and myself spent 3 nights in this beautiful home and community and we could not have asked for more in bringing in the new year. It was our first Mountain vacation and we all enjoyed ourselves more than we could imagine. Your home was a perfect fit for our family as far as the sleeping arrangements and there was so much room that we never felt that we were on top of each at any time. We each had our own floor and the children had the loft, which contained plenty of games to keep them occupied. The home was extremely clean and well maintained and Marilyn was great in keeping things simple in booking this home and everything went very smoothly. My children have already expressed the desire to come back to Maggie Valley and to stay at this home in the future with their friends. Our only complaint is that we could not have stayed longer. Thank you Marilyn for making our first trip to the mountains such a perfect vacation.   We have enjoyed this property for 2 years. My husband and I take our daughter and granddaughters up to NC for a "taste of autumn". We love the view! The home is very spacious and has enough bedrooms for all of us. We especially love the covered porch. It keeps the deck clean and provides an outdoor area to enjoy the view even on rainy days.

  We had 5 adults and 3 small children and there was plenty of space for everyone. The main living room is kind of small but the bedrooms are large and plenty comfortable. The house was very clean and well kept. The porch was our favorite place to sit and had a nice view. We would definately stay there again.

  A large, well-equipped house high above Maggie Valley, with a dazzling view and easy access. We particularly enjoyed the Labor Day fireworks show which seemed to be located just for us. The decor is comfortable without being too "girly" or too elegant for our group of grandsons. We enjoyed our montj-long stay and would do it again. Very private, almost the end of the road up the mountain. One qualifier: if you truly need high-speed internet, plan to "tether" off your smartphone. Recommended.

  My brothers and sisters and their spouces stayed at this beautiful home for the weekend near the end of April, and we could not have found a more comfortable and accomodating home in Maggie Valley. We did not want for anything in this home. It had everything you could need in the mountains, plus, an unbelievable view! I would surely recommend this home to anyone looking for a long weekend or extended stay. We plan on booking it again in the future when we get together. You will not find a more elegant, up to date, accomodating home for rent in Maggie Valley!

  We just returned from Maggie Valley and I cannot begin to tell you what a lovely time we had. The house was perfect for gathering with our adult children from Florida. Each bedroom with it's own bath gave us all the privacy needed for three families. We had 6 adults and 1 child. The house was in excellent condition and the view from the porch was the best in Maggie Valley. I am sure we will make this a yearly trip.

  I had the honor of staying at this home both in 2006 and 2007 for one week vacations with my whole family. The house is not only centrally located, but the views are spectacular. In addition, the home is very comfortable and inviting. We stayed in the Spring when it was cold and the heater and fireplace worked well keeping the house warm and cozy. We also visited in the Summer, and although the air conditioner is not really needed as much, it's available for your comfort. The wraparound porch overlooks Maggie Valley and is a great way to relax and spend time just talking with your family. But if you need some time away from them, it is spacious enough that everyone can enjoy a separate activity at the same time. There is plenty of room for up to a family of ten. Everything is clean and well-maintained. The mattresses are relaxing, all appliances worked well. Plenty of parking space for cars. The location is ideal in that it is close to Ghost Mountain, Cherokee, great family restaurants (especially Joey's Pancake House). It is located within reasonable driving distance from the Biltmore Estate in Asheville. There's also the Catalochee Ski Resort nearby. We will plan our next trip in the Fall as we have heard the most magnificent foilage is in the western North Carolina mountains. And we will definitely be renting here again.
