If you want to stay in one of the nicest properties on the Texas Gulf Coast, this is the condominium for you! An exceptional end unit upstairs with breathtaking views of Little Bay from all rooms at Casa Allegro Condominiums located on the exclusive isle of Key Allegro. The master bedroom has a queen size bed, cable television with VCR and private bath. The second bedroom has one queen and one double bed, cable television with VCR, and full bath. There is a sleeper sofa in the living area and cable television, DVD and VCR player. The unit has it’s own washer and dryer for your convenience. There is an active 3g connection card from Cricket for your internet use if needed to surf the net, research the many area activities, keep up your email and messaging, or (not recommended) work from the balcony. For extended family vacations or friends enjoying a vacation together the unit next door with identical floor plan and accommodations may be reserved at a discounted rate.
The marina is within walking distance with a restaurant on site offering a delicious lunch and dinner menu. Nearby at the Rockport beach, the kids will love the calm water and playscapes. There are additional beaches in Port Aransas, which is a quick ferry ride away or you can venture to Corpus Christi, a 30-minute drive for more beaches, restaurants and shopping. Downtown Rockport has many unique shops containing high-end art, clothing, home décor and souvenirs and there are numerous restaurants to satisfy any taste.
Bird watching and fishing are favorite activities of the area. Those can be done right from the condo balcony, off of the dock or you can hire a guide or take one of the many available tours. There is an amazing range of fish to be caught. Sea trout straight from the bay to the bar-b-que, it doesn’t get much better than that! If you own a boat, the condo has it’s own boat slips located by our very own fish filet/cleaning station. There are boat rentals available at the entrance of Key Allegro with everything from kayaks and jet skis to fishing and sailboats.
From the condo’s balcony you can relax and enjoy watching the pelicans, heron, seagulls and numerous other birds and if you are lucky, you will see the dolphins that frequently swim by. You can swim or relax by the swimming pool in the lounge chairs right out your front door downstairs or enjoy the bar-b-que and picnic area on the grounds.
This is a great place to stay any time of year, but be warned, once you have stayed here, you will want to come back over and over again!
