This cottage is great. The ares is shaded so you can sleep longer in the morning, no pedistrian traffic and is so cozy on the inside. We really loved the king size bed it slept so comfortly it was hard to come back to our own bed. Very spacious. The tram will pick you up and take you to the beach or you can take a beautful stroll through the guided pathway to the beach, maybe 200 yards. Beach is nice, very clean and private. Bring your own umbrealla and chairs, there is a place to rent them at the end of the bridge but they charge $29 daily or $150 for week. Plenty of shopping within 1 mile of area. Nice restaurants. Mitchell's Fish Market less than a mile down the road east. Not loud, waiters in modest appareal, great food and romantic and kid friendly. Make reservations on their website for fast seatiing. There are two pools, one 50 yards from our front door and huge. The other is down the way but it is smaller. Both have hot tubs and they are wonderful.
Recommended for:Families with teenagers, age 55+, girls getaway, families with young children, romantic getaway.

I have stayed many places in the Miramar Beach/Destin area and this is by far one of my favorite. The place was beautifully decorated and equipped with everything you could possibly need. Very peaceful!!! The pool is just a few steps away and the beach is just a short walk or tram ride away. Also loved the ease of no fuss checking in or out. We will definitely be returning. :)
Recommended for:Families with teenagers, tourists without a car, age 55+, girls getaway, families with young children, romantic getaway.
