The front door opens to a shared common area with a swimming pool shaded by several magnificent pecan trees. There is a small, private backyard and patio. Fabulous location! We were able to inexpensively take a cab to and from downtown and 6th street at all times. The property is close to everything. Maria's Express Taco's are literally right around the corner. The description is 100% accurate and the pictures are spot on. The condo was very clean and the rental process was very smooth and easy. The swimming pool is very nice and right outside the door for very easy access. We highly recommend the property!

Our family spent Christmas in Austin in 2010, and this was our home away from home. The place was LOVELY and really contributed to making our visit a happy one. The listing description and photos were accurate, and the property was indeed clean and well-maintained. The owner is GREAT! Not only was she helpful and prompt in responding, but also she really "went the extra mile" to be sure our family enjoyed our stay. The location is convenient for getting to Austin's attractions, yet hidden away enough that traffic noise isn't a bother. We met one day for breakfast at Kerbey Lane, one of our favorite Austin restaurants, and enjoyed the easy access to whatever we needed. We're planning to return for Christmas 2011!

What great accommodations. This central Austin location was very convenient for our family while there. The condo is very well equipped and the pool was so much fun for our kids. There were no surprises and the owner was really really kind and helpful with local attractions. Thanks for giving us the opportunity to rent this condo.

this great condo was perfect location out of the way yet near to everything. the property was very clean and well maintained. the owner gave good customer service restaurants and and music venues were all close if i stayed in austin again i would be more than happy to stay here and recommend to family and friends we just wish we had more time to stop in this lovley location

I have stayed here 4 different times for a week each with my wife (a very picky person when it comes to accommodations!) and 2 daughters. The condo is charming, very clean and centrally located near all of the stuff we like to do in Austin. Most of the time we never have to travel more than 2 miles to get to any of the great clubs, restaurants, coffee shops and awesome walking trails that the city offers. No need to even get on the highway, surface streets work nicely. The location is really "tucked in" and sort of hidden from the charming side street it is located on. You will likely drive past it by mistake the first time because it is hidden behind other homes, a feature we think is cool. Austin is full of "High Rise" style condos that look like apartment buildings, but this condo is really more like a duplex. We like the secluded pool out back and the fact that the owner lives right next door if we have any questions about the best spots to eat etc. We have become friends with some of the neighbor ladies who like to enjoy a poolside glass of wine around 5:00 or so. These ladies are funny, charming and are a great resource for learning about the city. It is a nice quiet area, but near lots of cool stuff. We learned of this condo thru the VRBO web site and even though there were photos on there I was concerned the first time we came down because you "just never know". We will continue to utilize this condo when visiting Austin. Can't think of anything I would really change about it. There is even a really nice stereo-- important for me since Austin has the best radio stations and I buy lots of new music when I'm down there. I visit Austin because the music is phenomenal, the food is awesome and the people are really friendly. Even the grocery stores are fantastic! The weather is usually great all year long.

I found the condo incredibly comfortable. It was a joy to stay in such a nice, clean, lovely space. The open, spacious, 2-story layout was great! Both the indoor and outdoor spaces (such a great option with the beautiful spring weather) were clean and well cared for. The pool was covered when I was there, but I would imagine it is a real treat during the Texas summers. Stay here! It is FABULOUS!
