Casa Carole can be rented either as a four or a five bedroom, private luxury villa. It is located right on the beach in the exclusive Conchas Chinas residential area, one-and-a-half miles (5 minutes) south of downtown Puerto Vallarta. You can walk to town along the beach (about 25 minutes)
Casa Carole was built by the owners in the clasical Colonial Style. It's 6,500 square feet, on four levels, cascade down the hillside between the coast road and the ocean below. There is direct access to a secluded sandy beach with great snorkeling. The 1,500 sq ft pool deck features a huge, heated, infinity pool and adjacent Jacuzzi spa, plus a palapa covered wet bar with refrigerator and gas BBQ.
Each of the 5 bedroom suites is located on a different level for maximum privacy and has a bathroom ensuite. Each bedroom has marble floors and a large balcony with magnificant ocean views. There are large windows and doors open to the sea breezes and elegant decor throughout, plus air conditioning in all five bedrooms. There are ceiling fans in the bedrooms, living room, dining room and in the pool deck alcove. Our fulltime staff of three, (that our guests rave about) come six days a week to cater to your every whim. Lola, a great chef, cooks two gourmet meals a day that you have selected from her extensive menu. Our guests say our houseman Samuel is "the perfect host". His margaritas served on the pool deck at 4 are outstanding. He is available to help you with any arrangements you need to make your visit memorable, from fishing trips to fireworks. Carmen our maid, cleans the rooms every day and can do your personal laundry as well. We also have Crispin to keep the pool perfect and Esau to keep the gardens growing.

Why the Owner Chose South Zone
After visiting friends in Vallarta in the late ‘70s, and entranced by its colonial charm, together they built Casa Carole right on the sea. The villa was designed for them by a local architect in the traditional Mexican Colonial style. With support of a professional local manager and a wonderful staff in Vallarta, Carol and John are “hands-on” owners, overseeing all aspects of ownership and rental of their luxury villa. One of their greatest pleasures is proudly sharing their villa with family, friends and clients. Even with the many upgrades over the years, Casa Carole continues to reflect their appreciation of the classical character and charm of old Mexico.

Carol and John Hethrington live a rural life in apple country, high on the Niagara Escarpment overlooking beautiful Georgian Bay in Ontario, Canada. John is a retired marketing executive, currently busy with local and federal politics and his activities as a Master Gardener. Carol is a retired political staffer, and with John, is heavily involved in their community both socially and as a volunteer. John and Carol, married over 50 years, have three children and two grown grandchildren.
