Road and mountain-bikers of all abilities will also enjoy world-class biking routes within 15 miles, ranging from difficult mountain climbs, to the widely acclaimed Pacific Coast Bike Route, to leisurely beach front rides. Four public golf courses can be found within a 10 mile radius. Shopping, restaurants, a movie theater, parks, cafes and bookstores are a 20 minute walk.

Downtown, historic Santa Barbara, with a large number of acclaimed restaurants, art galleries, shops, and Spanish architecture is only 15 minutes away by car. Hiking trails abound, and Santa Ynez, with its famous wineries, is a short drive over the hills of Santa Barbara, perfect for a day trip. The University of California is also just a few miles away.
