Clean and well maintained condominium complex. This unit is beautiful and restful. In fact we have named it Hale La'i meaning Peaceful or Tranquil House and that it is. Once you step inside you will at once feel relaxed and peaceful.
It may be because it has its own private and enclosed garden off the living room, it may be because of the comfortable Hawaiian furnishings or maybe the bright light that comes in from two directions. But you can't help but feel at home here. It has one bathroom downstairs with another bathroom and three bedrooms upstairs.
It is centrally located off one of the main streets in Hilo and within a short drive to the airport.
Hilo is the hub of East Hawaii and its one of the prettiest small towns you will ever see. It has beautiful Hilo Bay on side and is dominated by Mauna Kea on the other. In between are lots of green parks and beautiful vistas. Hilo has great shopping on its Bay Front and some really ono (delicious) restaurants. Hilo's Wednesday and Saturday's Farmer's Market in not to be missed. Stroll through and experience the exotic sights and smells of tropical flowers, fruits and vegetables.
Hilo has some good swimming and snorkeling beaches and is only about a 40 minute drive to Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. Drive north from Hilo and you will experience the beauty of the famed Hamakua Coast and the Majestic Waipi'o Valley. In between are some breathtaking valleys filled with flowering tropical trees and waterfalls. Don't miss the world class botanical gardens; Hawaii Tropical Botanical Garden and the World Botanical Garden featuring the multi-tiered Umauma Falls.
A trip to the east side of the Big Island is one you will not likely forget. East Hawaii is not the place of mega-resorts, it is one of the last remaining places where you will experience the true spirit of Aloha.
