Whether you want to visit the theme parks or lounge in the sunshine by the pool, our home-from-home is the ideal base. It is located on the peaceful community of Oak Island Cove.
Oak Island Cove is one of the closest residential areas to the magical world of Disney - only a 7 minute drive to where Mickey and the Gang hangout. It is situated on the western side of Highway 192, turning into Formosa Gardens Boulevard at marker 5. It is approx. half a mile to the local shopping plaza, where you will find a supermarket, numerous good quality restaurants including Outback, Red Lobster TGI Fridays, Olive Garden, bahama Breeze and others, Crazy Golf, medical centre, pharmacists, etc.
Our home is so close to Disney you will be able to return to it during a tiring day at the parks to freshen up and relax a little or have a swim before going back for the evening activities.
Decorated and furnished to a high specification the air-conditioned accommodation is all on one level, allowing easy access for anyone with mobility problems.
At 28' x 14' the heated pool is larger than average and is screened for privacy. Table and chairs are provided at the poolside for those wishing to relax and soak up the Florida sun, or eat 'al fresco'. The property benefits from having the sun over the pool area from early in the morning until well into the evening. Why not have a dip in the pool before retiring for the night! For your childrens safety and your piece of mind, doors leading to the pool area are alarmed.
Extras include baby cot plus bedding, highchair, electric barbecue, and portable TV/video plus cable in master bedrooms. A wall safe is provided for your valuables and the property has the benefit of an alarm system.Internet connection now available.
If you wish to eat out, there are many different restaurants (Red Lobster, Outback,TGI Friday's, Carrabba's Italian Grill), within easy access of the villa. 24 hour supermarkets for those'little necessities' are within a short drive. There is also a post office, walk-in clinic, pharmacy and numerous banks. The nearest hospital is at Celebration - approximately 20 minutes away

Why the Owner Chose Oak Island Cove
We first came to Florida in 1994 for the once in a lifetime family holiday, when the children were very young and very excited to see Mickey and his friends. However we were hooked on Florida and visited several times more when we stayed in hotels or Villas but they were so far from the parks that we got fed up queuing on the Interstate 4, the 27, or driving in from the ourskirts of Kissimmee which is huge. We out grew hotel rooms as we liked the freedom of the villa and the private pool, so we decided to buy our own villa. We searched until we found the perfect plot. A quiet residential area, a lovely plot that has the sun all day. We chose the style of villa we wanted so that we had 3 bathrooms, we chose the decor and had it built in 2001. It is 2 miles from Animal Kingdom and has all the amenities close by. We love the villa and have visited 3-4 times a year since. Our guests have also reported feeling at home in the villa so we hope you will also. Our children are now grown up but still love holidaying in the villa with their friends. It is an ideal place for accessing the parks, taking an airboat ride or a trip to the beautiful beaches about an hour drive or just chilling out by the pool. Oh and dont forget the shopping, designer outlets, the Florida and Millenium malls!!!

The Villa was very clean and smelt fresh on arrival. I'd recommend this to anybody whose visiting the many theme parks and shopping outlets in the area as it close and ideally situated to reach them all - less than 10 minutes to Disney!!! It was an easy and enjoyable experience from the moment we booked until our flight home.
Recommended for:Adventure seekers, girls getaway, families with young children, families with teenagers.

This is our second visit to this lovely villa. First visit was hallowen 2010 and we had such a great time we booked again for New Year 2012, so here we are again!. The facilities in the villa are excellent, just like home from home.The photos do not do this villa justice so you should update them! There is everything you need for your perfect family holiday here. It is situated so close to the parks and amenities that it means less time travelling and more time playing. At the end of fun filled days we returned to relax in the villa pool or occassionally popped back for a rest and swim in the afternoon before returning to the park or to the mega shops for retail therapy. We had a terrific airboat ride and saw the aligators in their own habitat, it was awesome!! We will be back in 2013

Thank you so much for letting us stay in your villa. We had a fantastic time and now time to start saving for a return visit one day. The weather was great only 1 day of rain but that didn’t stop us going out. All was well when we left the villa and in the garage we have left some things for the pool (a ball, Lillo and noodles) I put then in the box with the rest of the inflatables. We are on the road home and were just commenting on how wonderful the villa was in meeting our needs for this vacation. It was clean and spacious and having the washer and dryer at our disposal was wonderful. There wasn't anything that we needed in the house that wasn't available for our use. I could not believe close it was to Disney and all the other attractions. We spent a day at Cocoa Beach which took about 1 hour and 20 minutes to get to and it was a beautiful beach and not crowded. All in all it was just a wonderful experience and I will be sharing these thoughts with other officers and friends. We will plan to use it again sometime. Thank You for all you thoughtful kindness and follow-up in every matter.

Could not have picked a better villa for our family holiday. I agree with previous posts which state that the pictures just do not it justice. The place is spotless with endless supply of towels etc. Spacious and well layed out, we could not find a single fault. We had the pool heated and were able to make use of it day and night. The pool screen makes sure that we were bug free ! another added bonus for those of us who normally attract nasty bites. With good choice of restaurants and a fab supermarket just half a mile away, and Disney a mere 7 miles down the road the location is perfect.

We have been holidaying in Florida for over 30 years. The first time Disney only had the Magic Kingdom. We have stayed in many hotels & villas in the Kissimmee area, then we booked into this villa & realised this is a HOLIDAY HOME not just a hoilday villa for commercial use. It has those homely touches making it an extension of home for guests to enjoy & have a relaxing / enjoyable holiday. We love the villa & its location & enjoy returning time after time,also taking family & friends.
