If you know Lake Roosevelt, you know what a hidden gem it has become. Unpopulated and underdeveloped, this beautiful lake stretches from Grand Coulee dam all the way into Canada. Endless beaches surround this river, dotted by an occasional home.
This waterfront cabin is located on beautiful Sunset Point of Moccasin Bay (approximately 9 miles upstream from Porcupine Bay on the Spokane River arm of Lake Roosevelt). It is 13 miles from Davenport, Washington, a short 43 miles from downtown Spokane or a four to five hour drive from the Seattle area. The area is very quiet with only 5 cabins sharing the beach and boat dock. You'll have access to your own boat slip. Excellent alternative to the expensive Lake Roosevelt house boat rentals.
This cabin includes all the conveniences and amenities you'll need, so you just get to relax. Nestled between a greenbelt and the lake, the deer and wild turkeys will race you down to the water. The long summer days are spent cooling down in the lake any way you desire ... fish from the dock; swim in the warm, clear water; sunbathe on the sandy beach or water ski on water as smooth as glass (morning and dusk are the best!). In the evening, sit back on the comfortable deck and barbecue as the sun sets over the water. The full kitchen and sleeping arrangements accommodate up to ten people.
Refresh yourself on this relaxing and stress-free vacation!
Please note that boats must be launched from a public boat launch. Porcupine Bay is the nearest site. Getting to our cabin is approximately 9 miles on a gravel road. It is not recommended to pull your boat and trailer to our cabin. |
