We have been staying here for over 5 years and have never been let down with the accommodations. It's perfect for our large group 8-14 people. Also enjoy walking the trails around the area.Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with young children, sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, adventure seekers.

We had a wonderful family reunion at the Walton Lodge. The house is HUGE! So many beds and the kitchen is very well stocked. The place was quite clean. We loved the big indoor and outdoor tables, and we used the extra card table and chairs in the closet downstairs. We used the hot tub a bunch. Used the outdoor fire pit once. Beautiful views all around. We hiked to the tunnels and really enjoyed that. Naomi was very nice and easy to work with. On the down side, the place could use some updating. The only TV is very small and outdated. There is a zip line company operating right in the back yard. Sometimes that got a bit noisy, although we still had visual privacy. We were hoping that we could get a place that was walking distance to town, but this was a little too far for that. Overall, a really terrific weekend and we enjoyed our stay. Thanks, Naomi!Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with young children, sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, adventure seekers.

Walton's Moiuntain Lodge is your home away from home! The lodge is great for a large group and the owners are very welcoming and accommodating. Everything was as stated and the hot tub and firepit made our stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommended! We dined at Rudy's BBQ which we also enjoyed - go early, big lines!Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with young children, families with teenagers.

Naomi and family have thought of everything to make a faboulous family reunion. There were 21 of us. Hot tub and view, hiking, close to fun stuff. We felt lucky to have a black bear visit, at a safe distance, of course. We all wanted to stay. I hope we can visit again.Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with young children, sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway.

It is beautiful up here! If I had known the lodge was this big all of us could have stayed here. We came from Nebraska for our brother' wedding at Craftwood Inn. We have enjoyed our time up here and will do it again. Maybe a family reunion. Naomi is a sweetie. Thank you!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

Thanks so much, we all (24 of us) had a blast. The house was great for all of us to gather for dinner and visiting. It was a great location to come and go, and plenty to do around the grounds. It was a trip we will all remember. Thanks to all the WaltonsRecommended for: Girls getaway, families with young children, sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, adventure seekers.

Thank you for the use of such a nice place. Waltons Mountain was perfect for the 19 people age 2-79. This was the first time all of us have been together in one place for any length of time. We enjoyed our visits with you at different times this week. We like this home layout so much we are talking about seeing if we could build a similar house in Nebraska. Again, thank you and God bless you for sharing this home.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 2/2

What a beautiful spot for a family reunion. We enjoyed the privacy of the lodge and the wonderful accomodations. It was a great "bouncing off" spot for our activities and an even better gathering spot for our evenings. We enjoyed a fire one beautiful night and spent some time in the hot tub. A couple of us hiked through all the train tunnels. What a beautiful view! Thanks for the expierence!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 1/1
