I can sum up our entire stay in one phrase, "something for everybody". We have quite a diverse brood and not one of us was lacking in activity (or inactivity if that be preferred). Our family thoroughly enjoyed the bay, the pool, the deck, the kitchen (we love to cook) and the very comfortable beds. You've thought of everything! Your cozy, cheerful cottage lent itself well to creating lasting family memories. While it certainly looks as if it belongs in the pages of a Pottery Barn catalog, we never felt anything but right at home. We all agreed to meet here again next summer. Thanks for a wonderful week.

Winter or summer, as a couple or with the whole family, for a weekend or a week, our experiences here have been exceptional. Decorated with an eye for detail and comfort and equipped with all of the accessories and necessities one would need for cooking and living, we have never lacked a thing during our stays here. It's the perfect get-a-way - even for non-fishing folks - convenient and calming. We can't wait to go back!

We give this cozy, yet spacious cottage a five star rating! It's comfortable, clean, and bright but most becoming and most enjoyable are the views of the river! It's visible from most any room in the cottage or simply lounging by the pool or on the dock. Being long time Deltaville/Urbanna "Rivah Rats," we wouldn't choose any other place to stay in the future. The cottage comfortably fits 6 adults and a few small children. It's beautifully decorated and fully stocked with all the supplies one needs during a rental stay; dishes, towels, linens, appliances, DVD, A/C, grills, etc. Dock access worked wonderfully for our 20' fishing boat and the kids loved swimming in the river and pool. A most enjoyable stay!

The owners of this rental house have created an atmosphere that is meant for the pages of Southern Living magazine. This is not a rental house but a home that was lovingly created foot by foot. A wall of windows across the back and one side of the house opens up a splendid view of the mouth of the Piankatank River and Chesapeake Bay. Sit at the dining room table and watch fishermen and sailboats cruise by. The same view can be seen from the comfy couches in the living room. The kitchen contains all new appliances of best quality. The kitchen cabinets are stocked with more glassware that a renter could possibly use in a week’s rental. Skylights are found in every room, including the bathrooms. The bathroom closets are stocked with plentiful towels and washcloths, again of high quality. Two heat pumps keep the house at a comfortable temperature. The dock is brand-new and of first quality. I docked my 22-foot boat here very comfortably. The house is in a quiet, safe neighborhood. You feel more like a guest in this house rather that a renter.
