The Estes Mountain Home is a beautifully decorated, well-maintained rental property. Have you ever walked into a vacation rental and had it appear that a cheesy gift shop vomited all over the place? Well, that's NOT the case here. There was all of the charm of a vacation home, and it was very tastefully done. As we approached the address on our first night, I admit to being initially disappointed at how close we were to other homes and the town of Estes Park, but when we went down the driveway, then down the steps to the home, we discovered that we had all the seclusion we needed with beautiful views, yet all the convenience of being close to town. We were even visited by an abundance of wildlife, including several mule deer walking right under the second story deck every morning. The proximity to town allowed us to come back home between various excursions. The location ended up being perfect, and the home itself exceeded my expectations. I would highly recommend this to any family with multiple interests.

This was a wonderful home for our family to simply relax in and enjoy being together, yet still have the independence of separate and comfortable sleeping quarters for each couple. Tremendous view of Estes! Very functional and versatile living space. Well-stocked kitchen sufficient for us to cook the full meal thanksgiving feast.

we spent 4 nites at this gorgeous house with another couple... and there really is no way to describe the views... and the pictures above do not do the views justice... there were 3 different decks to sit and enjoy, so we'd have coffee on one in the morning, wine on another in the evening, and dinner out on another. the house sits about 1/2 up the mountain looking down right over the town and also the lake... and then up and around all the other mountains... hummingbirds, chipmonks... and the house was perfect... had every amenity anybody could want... and there was more than enough room for at least another couple, maybe 2... and linda was just as helpful as good be... it was wonderful... and we will be back....

I wanted to thank you myself for giving my family the chance to stay together for a small reunion and celebration of my mom's 70th birthday. It was a wonderful experience staying at your home, it was just what I had hoped for in terms of a place that we could all be under one roof and "feel at home". The house was very well appointed, I appreciated the extra touches, and it was easy to walk into and "live in" for several days. We cooked many meals together and found the kitchen easy to use. The ability for 8 of us to sit together at the table on the deck was wonderful. The setting was beautiful and we had everything we needed. We had a wonderful time and I will be grateful for the time we spent there with my family for a long time to come. Thank you for creating a lovely home.

Recently returned from a trip to Rocky Mtn National Park where our family stayed at Estes Mountain Home. From the beginning, Linda was incredibly nice in walking us through the property, but we thought the online pictures did not do it justice! Very comfortably fit 7 adults in the 4 bedrooms and there was enough space between kitchen, living rooms, and patios where people were not in each others way. Decorations added to each room with the mountain theme, and every feature of the house was beyond comfortable. Location was right off the main intersection coming into Estes (so convenient for groceries, etc), but high enough on the hillside to feel secluded. Plus only 5 minutes to the gates of the park. Overall wonderful time and we would return here again.

We have spent two vacations at this house and it is the absolute best place in Colorado. The house is beautiful, clean and cozy. The views are magnificent and the location is perfect. The owners are friendly and quick to respond to emails and phone calls. Our favorite place to eat is at "Chicago's Best" in downtown Estes Park. They have the best pizzawe we have ever found. We look forward to spending many more vacations in this beautiful home!

The home is very welcoming and allowed us to truly relax and enjoy everything around us. We were welcomed to Estes Park with a 12 point deer. With the awesome kitchen we were able to cook our meals. Hot tubbing at dusk meant hearing the elk bugling! A large bear visited 3 nights around 9pm. We was breathtaking. We had a wonderful stay!

Bob & Linda, We enjoyed your amazing home tremendously. Hiking, jeep ride, horse ride, the Elk Fest-all of it was perfect. Saw a bear at the trash can. A beautiful bull elk with 2 cows and 2 yearling walked through the yard. To top it all of we got to run around in a snow storm at Bear Lake. We couldn't have asked for more. Thank you, we hope to be back.

Would use again and recommend to anyone.....great location to Estes downtown and Rocky Mtn. Nat'l Park. (Would also recommend "The Big Horn" for breakfast and "The Rock Inn" for great dinner and music in the local flavor!)

My wife and I just paid off all of our school loans and our completely debt free except for our house. We wanted to spend a week in Estes Park and RMNP celebrating this moment. This house was exceptional. The views breath taking and the location awesome. We were just a few minutes away from almost anything we wanted to do. We did some hiking, snowshoeing, shopping, and relaxing. I would definitely recommend this house and we would love to come back. The description of the house was very accurate. It had everything we needed for a great week of celebration.

The last two years we have stayed at Estes Mountain Home. It offers a beautiful view of the mountains. We found the view from our bedroom balcony breath taking. The home is immaculate and well decorated. It provides the convenience of home but yet, the feel of a mountain cabin. The large kitchen supplied ample space for cooking and eating. The hot tub on one of the decks was especially relaxing at the end of a day. We enjoyed touring through Rocky National Park, visiting the Estes Museum and the many quaint shops in downtown Estes. We have enjoyed our stay at Estes Mountain Home the last two years and eagerly await our trip and stay there next year. What a lovely place for a family gathering. The owners were very friendly, helpful, and easy to work with.

a beautiful home away from home, with everything you would need. The home is very private, with the views unbelievable. You are only minutes from downtown and the Rocky National Park. We also enjoy the wild life when we are there-elk, deer and sheep. The home is very clean and well maintained. The hot tub and decks are very private and again the views are great. We also enjoy the town of Estes with all of their activities, restaurants and music. The river walk is very fun also. I would recommend this property.

Growing up in Colorado we have made many trips to Estes Park. We would have to say that our experience in this home was the best we have encountered. We were amazed at how clean it was. The views were terrific. Wildlife is abundant around you to enjoy. Being private individuals...we relaxed in the hot tub at any time of the day...without concern about neighbors...due to the location of the House and tub. The tub was clean and not too many chemicals used....so it didn't bother our skin. It was quiet and enjoyable. The kitchen was well supplied (even some unopened extra condiments left behind by others)....we had all the spices we needed to prepare our dinners. The charming bedrooms were, indeed comfortable too!! and again....the view from the upstairs bedroom was wonderful. Everything is close. Shopping, hiking, eating etc...... Certainly not lacking in outdoor activities. The brochure on the table is an excellent way to find your way around Estes. While booking our trip....Linda( and all the people) we spoke to were down to earth and truly concerned about making your stay a great one. We will be back to visit Estes and plan on staying here....feels just like home. We would recommend this house to anyone who wants to feel at home and welcomed.

My parents, sister and her family all stayed at the Estes Mountain Home in August 2008. This house is perfect! In addition to having all of the cooking/baking utensils you could think of, they also had plates, straws and other items for the kiddos! This home is as beautiful as the pictures and description describe, but was also very comfortable. My 14 month old son and my 2 year old nephew had a great time in this house, as did my parents. Please note, however that there are quite a few stairs that you have to go down to get to the house from the parking area so if you are on crutches or have bad knees, you need to consider this. It is beautiful, though and we will definitely stay at this home again!

We spent our dream vacation with our children in Colorado and Linda and Bob were more than helpful. Our time couldn't have been spent anywhere more serene. (loved the hot tub views) Thank you for a lifetime of memories that we will treasure.

Our family visited Estes Park in July of 08 and we stayed at the most perfect place possible for us. This Estes Park Mountain Home was exactly what we had been told and more. We were very close to downtown, the hospital, etc. as well as the Y camp where our kids attended during the days. The house was unbelieveable and was decorated very tastefully and I like to describe it as an elegant rustic retreat. The 1300 sq ft of decking was just perfect to observe the beautiful views of Lake Estes and the historic Stanley Hotel, as well as the nature around us. The hot tub was just perfect and our kids thought they were in heaven after a big day at camp. Everything was clean, accomodating and we hope to stay at this beautiful mountain home as often as we can. I highly reccomend this property to anyone looking for the perfect vacation rental home!

I couldn't have been more impressed with Estes Mountain Home. My husband and I rented the house for a week-long honeymoon in the end of May. The house was very clean and well-stocked. The views were fantastic. We loved the hot tub after long days of hiking, fishing, or ATVing. We grilled and ate on the beautiful deck almost everynight. We saw lots of wildlife right near the house. I can't wait for an occasion to rent the home again. I'm trying to talk some friends into having a multi-family vacation together here sometime. I would recommend this house to anyone.

If you are looking for the perfect mountain get-a-way, the Estes Mountain Home is the answer. We have stayed here twice and look forward to our next visit in April (which will be for our 19th Wedding Anniversary). The home is always clean, quiet and inviting. As soon as you step through the door, you are home! Don't miss out on the chance to relax in the outdoor spa. It has a wonderful view of Estes Park. Take your morning cup of coffee on the back deck and share some time with the deer or elk that are usually eating their breakfast. Our thanks to Bob & Linda for the perfect, peaceful times we can expect from their lovely home. And thanks again for the "Happy Birthday Sherry" sign you had the "Welcome Bear" holding when we came for a birthday visit (and got to take home with us). We can't wait to return!
