Fantastic location with the best of both worlds! Beach Villa overlooking the 18th fairway and green of the Robert Trent Jones golf course. Just a short five minute walk to the beach or two minute bike ride. Our Villa is just a short walk to the community pool, Palmetto Dunes tennis resort, Robert Trent Jones Golf course Clubhouse, and the plantation's general store.
We have completely renovated the interior of our Villa 12/2007. Recent upgrades include new hardwood flooring throughout the lower floor and new Berber carpeting on the upper floor, custom interior paint and colors, interior doors, baseboards, casement, fixtures and more! In 4/2009 we replaced the old refrigerator with a new side by side unit with built in ice-maker and chilled, on the door water dispenser.
Our smoke free Villa comes complete with everything to make your vacation enjoyable with the comforts of home. The living room and master bedroom are both located on the first floor. Sliding doors lead to a large open deck which overlooks the 18th fairway and green. Table, chairs and grill for outside dining.
The master bedroom includes a new bed and full private bathroom. The living room includes a newer sofa with pullout bed, newer love seat, and a second three quarter bathroom. The upstairs bedroom has two double beds, full private bath, and a balcony overlooking the golf course. The upstairs loft includes a sofa bed.
This setup allows for up to eight people to sleep comfortably. The kitchen is fully equipped with all of the comforts of home. If you have a toddler or infant a high chair is stored in a 1st floor closet for your use. Our Villa has free wireless internet access and beach equipment to make your stay more enjoyable.
Hilton Head Island is famous for its beautiful beaches and warm ocean water. However, while at Palmetto Dunes, there is plenty more to enjoy. The plantation itself has three championship golf courses as well as 25 championship clay tennis courts of which many are lighted for night play.
The plantation includes miles of biking trails, 11 miles of lagoons for rowing and many restaurants. Shelter Cove harbour is one mile away, easy shuttle access, and includes shops, restaurants, entertainment and fireworks in the summer.

You could not have a better place to stay. Enjoyed watching the golfers on the 18th hole. It was great being so close to the beach. Managed to see 6 dolphins playing in the ocean. At one of the golf courses we saw quite a few alligators, which we made a point to stay away from. The owners were excellent to talk too. Gave you several hints on what to do on the Island and surronding communities. The listing description was accurate and the property was very clean and well maintained. I would recommend this Villa too my family and friends.

We loved our stay at this Hickory Cove villa. We have vacationed in HHI 10+ times and this was our favorite villa. The location is perfect...very close to the beach, on the 18th fairway, private and quiet, a bike ride from Shelter Cove, walking distance to bike rental, general store, and restaurants. The villa and well stocked and immaculately clean. Parie was very responsive and helpful with all of our questions. We will be returning!

Thanks for renting your place to us. It was our first time to Hilton Head and we absolutely love it there! Probably one of my favorite places in the U.S. now! It had everything that we were looking for - plenty of activities close by but also the beach and pool for relaxation, We loved the location- tennis, the beach, golf and kayaking all within a minute bike ride. The villa is great and very comfortable. We loved sitting on the deck watching the golfers try and hit the green! One of our favorite things to do was riding bikes on the beach. It was pretty windy one day so we rode down to one end of Palmetto Dunes on the inland road then went on the beach and didn't even need to pedal as we had the wind on our backs that blew us the entire length of the beach!

Our first trip to HHI and we could have not had a more wonderful time. Your place was very nice and the location was great. My family is already asking about next year. HHI is all that everyone had told us. The blender did not work so I replaced it with a new one. The weather and water were second to none. Got three rounds of golf in and our dog Mackenzie loved the beach. Thanks again for letting us rent your condo.

You have a wonderful place and we enjoyed it very much. we did a lot of biking and swimming. The weather was a little cooler then normal and we did have h bit of rain but that did not stop the fun. Hope to be back some day!

Perfect in all ways....biking every morning... all the way to Sea Pines for Heritage practice round....Easter seafood on the grill via Barnacle Bills...Tennis on the forgiving Clay courts...chuckling at the golfers trying to cut the corner on 18; they left one Souvenir logo ball on the deck...Playing 17 & 18 at twilight. Wish we had others with us to enjoy the the setting and property, and hope we are able to return often!
