Sands Ocean Club Resort has a reputation for being one of the most fun-filled, exciting resorts in Myrtle Beach. As home of the famous Ocean Annie's Beach Bar, Sands Ocean Club provides a perfect setting for live entertainment and relaxing good times.

Our unit, 830, is an end corner studio (larger than other studios in Sands) that is direct oceanfront with a beautiful view down the beach and overlooking Ocean Annie's. Just open the sliding glass doors and listen to the live music while relaxing on the couch with a view of our beautiful beach. Our unit has just been remodeled with all new furnishings, bedding, cabinets and stainless appliances. We converted one of the full beds into a pull down murphy bed, allowing for more room and open space when the bed is not being used. There are 2 double beds, a large 7ft sofa (not a sleeper sofa) and a single inflatable mattress that can be used in the hallway for small children.

Within the resort, you will find OCEAN ANNIE'S, the area's MOST POPULAR outdoor beach bar with tropical drinks and live music. You can listen to the music while relaxing on the beach, around the pool or party down with the crowd around the bar. And if the music really moves you, get up and bust a move on the beachfront dance floor or even in the sand if you prefer. There is also the ATLANTIS SPA which offers massages, facials, manicures and more. For nightly fun and entertainment, visit the Sandals lounge within the resort with nightly happy hour, karoake and dancing.

The onsite amenities include both indoor and outdoor pools, a lazy river, whirlpool and fitness room. The onsite WINDOWS OCEANFRONT restaurant is open daily for breakfast or come in from the beach for lunch at River City Cafe (a personal favorite of ours)for some of the best burgers on the beach. Within the resort, there is a gift shop, convenience store and wholesale golf shop. Sand's new indoor plaza lounge area features five public internet kiosks in a setting inspired with tropical plants, a plasma television, skylights and ceiling fans.


The unit comes equipped with a full kitchen which includes a stove, refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, coffee pot, toaster oven and all pots, pans and dinnerware you will need, and iron and ironing board and hair dryer. We have added additional items to our unit that you are free to use during your stay; beach play toys, beach chairs and umbrella, dvd movies, books for beach reading, cards and children's games.

THIS UNIT IS A NON-SMOKING UNIT and you must be at least 25 years old to rent PROOF OF AGE REQUIRED! Although this unit is oceanfront, there is not a private balcony. There are sliding doors that you can open to enjoy the ocean air with railing on the outside. The unit has a gorgeous view of the beach!! The unit is a corner unit and has an extra side window to allow sunlight in.

  • Great Condo. It met all of our needs.We actually did not spend alot of time in the condo.(too busy shopping at the malls which were in close proximity). The views were great. Lots of ammenities. And we loved Finn Mccools Restaurant which was in walking distance. And the great Happy Hour at the Bimini Oyster Bar

  • First visit to the area and the unit was the perfect location. We loved being close to Ocean Annie's, although we just listened to their music more than actually visiting the bar. The unit was equipped with everything you need, including beach chairs. The unit was not very large but for just two people it was all you needed.

  • This was our first time in Myrtle Beach. It was perfect for the three of us. Karen and Matt provide every kitchen item you would ever need. It was wonderful to open the door at night, listen to the music, and lay on the pull out bed. It was like something you would see in a romance movie. The resort is also perfect for children. My son used the outdoor and indoor pools, lazy river, and beach every single day. We also used the food establishments available in the resort. There is a Krogers right up the road for anything you may need. We were close to every attraction we visited.I just really appreciated Karen and Matt. I called them at their own home two times on our trip to ask questions. They were very gracious to help. They illustrated Southern Hospitality at its finest. We will be using our return discount in the next year. Thanks for a great family vacation!

  • This was our first time renting from the Becker's. It was a delightful experience. Hassle free is the phrase that comes to mind. It was nice to just bypass the check in line and go straight to the room. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely stay with Karen again.

  • This was my first stay at Karen and Matt's condo. They were very nice and accommodating. The weather was cool and windy the first part of the week but Tanger outlets are very close. The condo was very nice. Enjoyed just opening the sliding door to hear the music. Did wish there would have been a functional balcony. Thank you for an enjoyable and relaxing week. Will definiteliy use the condo again.

  • We spent a long weekend in this unit...it was wonderful. Newly decorated and everything was so up to date. Plenty of towels and even equiped with beach chairs! The location is awesome. Close to everything you need. And Ocean Annies is a great place for music. This unit is great for couples or a small family. We can't wait to stay here again!

  • My family stayed in this unit the wk of Aug.3. The unit was extremely clean, and everyone at Ocean Sands were very nice. Restaurants, shopping, etc. was within 10mi or so. Many thanks to the Beckers! We highly reccomend this unit, and hope to rent again in the future.

  • The place was extremely clean and very nicely decorated. Lots of towels and extra's like DVDs, games and even beach games and chairs. Awesome view of the beach, pool and bar area. If you want out a bit, there is a mall and many many restaurants close by. Getting in and out was awesome with not having to check in at the front desk and having a key in the door lock. Only down side and may not be a down side for you is that the bar band runs from noon to 11 pm every day and it made it very difficult to get a nap or go to bed earlier then 11 if you wanted, so bring ear plugs if you want to nap or hit the sack by 11 pm but at least the band was really good and played some good tunes which helped. For us, we just played dominoes and games at the table in the room watching the band and listening in our room making our own drinks, trust me, you can here the band but perhaps in the off season, they are not there or do not play so late. We would 100 percent recommend staying here and we would go back, with ear plugs if given the chance.
