Sands Ocean Club Resort has a reputation for being one of the most fun-filled, exciting resorts in Myrtle Beach. As home of the famous Ocean Annie's Beach Bar, Sands Ocean Club provides a perfect setting for live entertainment and relaxing good times.
Our unit, 830, is an end corner studio (larger than other studios in Sands) that is direct oceanfront with a beautiful view down the beach and overlooking Ocean Annie's. Just open the sliding glass doors and listen to the live music while relaxing on the couch with a view of our beautiful beach. Our unit has just been remodeled with all new furnishings, bedding, cabinets and stainless appliances. We converted one of the full beds into a pull down murphy bed, allowing for more room and open space when the bed is not being used. There are 2 double beds, a large 7ft sofa (not a sleeper sofa) and a single inflatable mattress that can be used in the hallway for small children.
Within the resort, you will find OCEAN ANNIE'S, the area's MOST POPULAR outdoor beach bar with tropical drinks and live music. You can listen to the music while relaxing on the beach, around the pool or party down with the crowd around the bar. And if the music really moves you, get up and bust a move on the beachfront dance floor or even in the sand if you prefer. There is also the ATLANTIS SPA which offers massages, facials, manicures and more. For nightly fun and entertainment, visit the Sandals lounge within the resort with nightly happy hour, karoake and dancing.
The onsite amenities include both indoor and outdoor pools, a lazy river, whirlpool and fitness room. The onsite WINDOWS OCEANFRONT restaurant is open daily for breakfast or come in from the beach for lunch at River City Cafe (a personal favorite of ours)for some of the best burgers on the beach. Within the resort, there is a gift shop, convenience store and wholesale golf shop. Sand's new indoor plaza lounge area features five public internet kiosks in a setting inspired with tropical plants, a plasma television, skylights and ceiling fans.
The unit comes equipped with a full kitchen which includes a stove, refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, coffee pot, toaster oven and all pots, pans and dinnerware you will need, and iron and ironing board and hair dryer. We have added additional items to our unit that you are free to use during your stay; beach play toys, beach chairs and umbrella, dvd movies, books for beach reading, cards and children's games.

THIS UNIT IS A NON-SMOKING UNIT and you must be at least 25 years old to rent PROOF OF AGE REQUIRED! Although this unit is oceanfront, there is not a private balcony. There are sliding doors that you can open to enjoy the ocean air with railing on the outside. The unit has a gorgeous view of the beach!! The unit is a corner unit and has an extra side window to allow sunlight in.

My trip was a girls trip, 2 Moms and our daughters and all of us enjoyed. The instructions the Beckers give for using their unit are great....everything went very smoothly! Being able to hear the music from Ocean Annie's was a plus for all of us...we enjoyed it a lot! This was my 3rd year staying at the Sands Ocean Club and this was by far the nicest unit I've stayed in. I will stay here in the future. Thanks Karen and Matt!!

My first trip to this resort and I will return.. The condo was clean and updated kitchen and bathroom.. The view was spectacular and you had a clear shot of the pool, beach and Ocean Annies .. The bands we could enjoy from our room.. We never left the complex.. The help was friendly.. The resort is a little older but very clean and maintained..My boyfriend and I very much had a blast! The closet was a treat complete with umbrella chairs and more,

We have been staying at this unit for around 3 years now. I love it..everything is always so convenient. We also love going to Ocean Annie's and Sandals!!! If you come down during the Spring and Fall Bike Rally, they do have security for your bikes. Great Place!!!

We had a "last minute chance" to go to the beach and contacted Karen and Matt about this property. It was perfect for us. We could not have asked for better accommodations.....beautiful ocean front, overlooking the pool and Ocean Annie's. All we had to do was open the sliding glass door and the music was great. Any problem, Matt and Karen were just a telephone call away and they were truly at our service. They are wonderful to rent from. You will not be dissappointed.

We had a wonderful experience! Karen was extremely friendly. The condo was exactly as described. The beach is absolutely beautiful and well maintained. We will definitely be coming back soon (with the family this time)!!! Only negative comment - we needed more toilet paper and the housekeeping crew was not willing to help out.

We actually made our reservation with Karen on our way to the beach. She was wonderful working with us during travel!! Everything was perfect when we arrived that evening. My mother and I stayed at this unit, last minute. Karen was so nice to work with me. I booked this unit on a Sat. and arrived on Sun. The unit was just what we needed for our short stay. We enjoyed the unit and would stay again!!
