My first trip to this resort and I will return.. The condo was clean and updated kitchen and bathroom.. The view was spectacular and you had a clear shot of the pool, beach and Ocean Annies .. The bands we could enjoy from our room.. We never left the complex.. The help was friendly.. The resort is a little older but very clean and maintained..My boyfriend and I very much had a blast! We had a "last minute chance" to go to the beach and contacted Karen and Matt about this property. It was perfect for us. We could not have asked for better accommodations.....beautiful ocean front, overlooking the pool and Ocean Annie's. All we had to do was open the sliding glass door and the music was great. Any problem, Matt and Karen were just a telephone call away and they were truly at our service. They are wonderful to rent from. You will not be dissappointed.

We had a wonderful experience! Karen was extremely friendly. The condo was exactly as described. The beach is absolutely beautiful and well maintained. We will definitely be coming back soon (with the family this time)!!! Only negative comment - we needed more toilet paper and the housekeeping crew was not willing to help out.

We have been staying at this unit for around 3 years now. I love it..everything is always so convenient. We also love going to Ocean Annie's and Sandals!!! If you come down during the Spring and Fall Bike Rally, they do have security for your bikes. Great Place!!!

Great Condo. It met all of our needs.We actually did not spend alot of time in the condo.(too busy shopping at the malls which were in close proximity). The views were great. Lots of ammenities. And we loved Finn Mccools Restaurant which was in walking distance. And the great Happy Hour at the Bimini Oyster Bar

First visit to the area and the unit was the perfect location. We loved being close to Ocean Annie's, although we just listened to their music more than actually visiting the bar. The unit was equipped with everything you need, including beach chairs. The unit was not very large but for just two people it was all you needed.

This was our first time in Myrtle Beach. It was perfect for the three of us. Karen and Matt provide every kitchen item you would ever need. It was wonderful to open the door at night, listen to the music, and lay on the pull out bed. It was like something you would see in a romance movie. The resort is also perfect for children. My son used the outdoor and indoor pools, lazy river, and beach every single day. We also used the food establishments available in the resort. There is a Krogers right up the road for anything you may need. We were close to every attraction we visited.I just really appreciated Karen and Matt. I called them at their own home two times on our trip to ask questions. They were very gracious to help. They illustrated Southern Hospitality at its finest. We will be using our return discount in the next year. Thanks for a great family vacation!

This was our first time renting from the Becker's. It was a delightful experience. Hassle free is the phrase that comes to mind. It was nice to just bypass the check in line and go straight to the room. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely stay with Karen again.

This was my first stay at Karen and Matt's condo. They were very nice and accommodating. The weather was cool and windy the first part of the week but Tanger outlets are very close. The condo was very nice. Enjoyed just opening the sliding door to hear the music. Did wish there would have been a functional balcony. Thank you for an enjoyable and relaxing week. Will definiteliy use the condo again.

My trip was a girls trip, 2 Moms and our daughters and all of us enjoyed. The instructions the Beckers give for using their unit are great....everything went very smoothly! Being able to hear the music from Ocean Annie's was a plus for all of us...we enjoyed it a lot! This was my 3rd year staying at the Sands Ocean Club and this was by far the nicest unit I've stayed in. I will stay here in the future. Thanks Karen and Matt!!

We spent a long weekend in this unit...it was wonderful. Newly decorated and everything was so up to date. Plenty of towels and even equiped with beach chairs! The location is awesome. Close to everything you need. And Ocean Annies is a great place for music. This unit is great for couples or a small family. We can't wait to stay here again!

My family stayed in this unit the wk of Aug.3. The unit was extremely clean, and everyone at Ocean Sands were very nice. Restaurants, shopping, etc. was within 10mi or so. Many thanks to the Beckers! We highly reccomend this unit, and hope to rent again in the future.

I stayed in the unit for a week in July 2008 and the unit was great. Plenty of towels, and everything you will ever need. Although we did not use them, they even have beach chairs, and toys for the beach. The music will be noticeable, but it does grow on you. Also, it is done by 11PM sharp nightly. No worry about it running over. You could not ask for a better location and resort. River City Cafe is a nice added bonus and the Breakfast Buffet at Windows is the best deal on the beach. $8 every day all you can eat (drink included) and all the food is hot. They even make you omelets is you would like. Also I heard the lady say kids under 12 are free. Karen is great and I could not have asked for a better experience.

The place was extremely clean and very nicely decorated. Lots of towels and extra's like DVDs, games and even beach games and chairs. Awesome view of the beach, pool and bar area. If you want out a bit, there is a mall and many many restaurants close by. Getting in and out was awesome with not having to check in at the front desk and having a key in the door lock. Only down side and may not be a down side for you is that the bar band runs from noon to 11 pm every day and it made it very difficult to get a nap or go to bed earlier then 11 if you wanted, so bring ear plugs if you want to nap or hit the sack by 11 pm but at least the band was really good and played some good tunes which helped. For us, we just played dominoes and games at the table in the room watching the band and listening in our room making our own drinks, trust me, you can here the band but perhaps in the off season, they are not there or do not play so late. We would 100 percent recommend staying here and we would go back, with ear plugs if given the chance.

I agree with all the comments here. My girl friends and I all take annual trip each spring and we've stayed at Sands for three years. This, BY FAR, is the nicest condo we've stayed in. The long entry/ foyer hallway in the condo was great for getting our 'stuff' out of the way of our living space. There were PLENTY of towels and washcloths. The kitchenette was neat and tidy. I loved the lockbox on the door (no worrying about 'who has the keys' when everyone goes their own way!). Just a really nice place. We loved facing Ocean Annie's and opened the door to enjoy the music while getting ready in the evenings. Sandals, the 'lounge' was better than usual as well with a new, younger dj and some really talented karoke singers. (Sometimes they have singers that can make your ears bleed.. :) Riverwalk is always good and we ate there each night. In fact, we didn't leave the resort until we needed something from Wal-Mart one afternoon (which is only a mile or two away). Thanks again for an excellent stay. We were very, very pleased.

This condo is beautifully decorated and the location is wonderful. I've stayed at the Sands for more than 7 years now, and this is by far the nicest room I've had. You can certainly tell all the personal touches that the owners have added. We enjoyed the beach, the pool, the restaurant (River City Cafe) and, of course, Ocean Annie's. This place has everything you'll need for a great stay at Myrtle Beach. Thanks guys!

The Sands Ocean Club is a great place at Myrtle Beach. It's a great location on Shore Drive, close to everything and there is so much to do at Sands. There is something for everyone. The Becker's condo is fabulous! My Husband, myself and two kids took an impromptu trip down to Myrtle Beach over the Thanksgiving break. The owners were so accomodating and there was no problem with our last minute rental. In fact, it went smoother than it ever could have went directly from the resort itself. I was really impressed with how how all the details were handled. If that wasn't pleasant enough, we walked into the room and down a long private hall in the room. That ended up being so nice because it was a place to keep all of our suitcases and stuff and out of the living space area. A little thing like that can make a BIG difference when you have four people in the room! The room is so nicely decorated and has such a warm and cozy atmosphere. The leather couch is also an added bonus as my two kids are not interested in sharing sleeping space so one took the couch and the other the bed. What a nice vacation when everyone has their own space! The owners have truly put their heart and personal touch into this place and it shows, it was immaculate! The view of the ocean, pool and the band area is perfect! Feel free to use us a reference, we would rent your beautiful condo again without hesitation! My husband and I recently married on October 20th and stayed at the Sands Ocean Club for our honeymoon. We had the best time of our lives. Everything that was needed was provided at the resort. We especially enjoyed the scenery of the ocean, and the hot tub. This was such a great experience at the resort that we would recommend the Sands to all of our friends. We look forward to visiting Myrtle Beach again. There is soo-ooo much do to there that a 2nd & 3rd trip will be made soon. This place has all the perks, from two great bars, downstairs and outside, to the inside heated pools, lazy river and of course great ocean views. We definitely recommend it to young couples or older couples. There are plenty of fun things to do around the area too. It was great!
