The "House at Whidbey" was a great beach getaway for my family. The house, beach, and spa are absolutely as great as they look in the photos and we were amazed at the amount of things to do at the house, beachcombing, sports, picnics, spa, etc. This house is unique in its offering for family-focused fun and was a wonderful place to relax and enjoy the peacefulness of the island.

Loved the house! With 3 grandparents, 4 parents, 1 four year old, and 2 babies we filled the house up pretty well. Sleeping accommodations were comfortable but the living room/dining room was really full when we were all there. Fortunately, the property had so much to do someone was always running around somewhere doing something. We loved the extras for the kids; toys, books, beach toys, even big wheels. We flew in from California so having a house so well equipped with extras like a spare rain coat was much appreciated. We also really enjoyed the location, the house was nice enough we didn't get out as much as we thought, but Langley was the perfect vacation town and the rest of Whidbey was beautiful.
Recommended for:Adventure seekers, girls getaway, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers.

We're a family of four - 2 girls aged 4 and 8 and we loved this house. It's very cozy and has everything you need to make your stay simple and relaxing. You forgot the salt, no problem. Need a little bit of vinegar for your salad, no problem. Want to run a load of laundry, easy. The girls spent a lot of time on the beach collecting shells. It's a nice drive around the island to see some of the State Parks and we were also surprised to see Bison and Long Horned Cattle. The hot tub is great for warming up after hiking around. The master bedroom has a super comfortable bed, fireplace and little deck. The sunrise view is spectacular. We highly recommend this wonderful house on a quiet road on a beautiful island.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, sightseeing, girls getaway, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers.

We had a great stay here - 2 families with young kids. The beach is just fantastic. When the tide goes out you can beachcomb for hours. We saw eagles, herons, sand dollars, clams, crab, you name it. It was fun & relaxing for both the kids & adults. The location along with the hot tub and "heavenly bed" definitely lowered our city blood pressure. We'll be back!
